Motor Rear Cover Fit for Dyson V7 V8 Vacuum Cleaner, 1 Motor Real Cover 1 HEPA Post-Filter and 2 Pre-Filters Vacuum Filters Kit

While searching for a battery replacement for my Dyson V7 stick vacuum I ran across this HEPA filter upgrade kit. WHO KNEW! The stock permanent rear foam filter in my aging vacuum was full of dirt and nasty. It just makes sense that they make that part also a user-replaceable part now in newer stick vacuums. I've very glad to have run across this upgrade kit for my older vacuum. Some instructions say just to twist your old filter off ... nope, nada, not with mine. Mine is held very tightly with clips. It wouldn't budge with any amount of man turning. I found a plastic spudger and with some force was able to pop the old filter off. Then I could install this new housing and the post HEPA filter. Ahhhhh.... now I can breathe again! What a great upgrade for such a small amount of money. The noise level seems slightly reduced as well with this rear filter. The quality is like OEM, and now I can use those post filters and keep the air coming out of my vacuum nice and clean. I highly recommend this upgrade for an older V7!

Used this to upgrade the filter system on my Dyson v7. Simple squeeze the base of the previous back plate and it pops off and just twist this one on and boom you have a great hepa filter on your vacuum to increase lifespan and collect all the tiny dust particles. Great value for a huge upgrade. Fit perfect on the V7.

It is a little tough to get the original back off but with a butter knife and mini flathead we managed to do it. The new back piece was easy to snap on and the filter is so simple to twist and lock on and off. This was a fantastic upgrade and wish I had known sooner. Top filter just pops in and out and the vacuum is working very well now.

This rear cover replacement let me add a HEPA filter to my Dyson V7. It fit was perfect and the air flow was increased to make the Dyson work better. The price was great because they threw in 3 filters for the same price of the converter alone. Was 100% compatible and very easy to use.

Our vacuum was knocked over and the motor cover would no longer stay on the vacuum. This is the perfect solution, reducing it by one star due to the fact that the long narrow filter does not fit it as snug as the original filter.

My V7 was initial model with no HEPA filter. This kit allowed me to replace back plastic cover with this HEPA filter / cap. Quieter now andI know I am filtering dust and germs completely!
