Extremely satisfied!
This safe is exactly what I was looking for... I needed a safe with multiple open/locking options which is precisely what this unit offers at a very good price.... I had a little difficulty programming but literally one eight minute call remedied... Dan the service adviser called me within minutes after receiving my email requesting help... Needless to say I am extremely satisfied

Practice makes perfect; because it is easy to make none operational by mistakes.
I bought this product and the delivery timing was excellent. After unpacking, I read instructions, which send you to an online setup site. I reviewed the video in it's entirety. I rewatched the video following the instructions on setting up the safe. I went through the instructions again to make sure I had not missed anything. Everything was working perfectly. I then chose a location in my closet to bolt the safe down to a shelf. I unplugged the safe and made sure I had the bolts and cord inside. I made a template to get the hole location correct, drilled the holes and installed the safe. It is very important not to forget to replug the safe back into an electrical outlet. Otherwise if you try to open the safe without it being plugged in you will get locked out and the keypad will not beep when you punch the numbers. If you get locked out as I did twice, then remember to plug in the safe, the keypad still will not respond though. The only way to get the safe to work again is to remove the batteries and unplug it. Now start the set up all over again from the beginning and the safe will come back to life. Whatever you do, don't unplug the safe once you have it in the location you want, and for GOD sakes don't lock your keys inside. If you have even a power outtage there is no telling if the key pad will work for you once the power is back on. The premise is good, but the safes preformance can be dissapointing. This device can work for you if you just use it as a key safe. If you have any problems you can get email assistance within 1 day.

Not as seen in picture.
I actually love the idea of this. The safe works really well. My problem with this is the misleading picture. Warning. If you buy this safe it is going to have a slot and/or hole in the top. That makes it way less secure. It is the difference of using just a chrome bar to break into it versus having to find some kind of heavy weight power tool. I know it says depository on the heading, but as of now the company has a picture of the fully enclosed and much better time lock safe. [witch I had to go back and buy] I think if your going to charge people over $200.00 dollars for something you should eliminate any chance of confusion. The words may not be, but the images for this product fall under false advertisement.

Difficult to operate
Very difficult to operate instructions are very difficult to understand. I've had this for a week and still can't get it to work.

Wish it had a different timing solution, but decent structual build.
I was hoping to be able to open the safe, set a lock out duration and then close it, ultimately locking out access for the duration. Instead the time lock allows for scheduled access times throughout the week. Much like a programmable thermostat. The metal looks durable and if I were to try and break in I would need at least a 6 inch grinding wheel on an AC powered grinder. Pry bars and smaller rotary tools won't get you in.
