I love the compartments because they allow me to remove smaller ...
I love/hate this bag. To be fair I am not a pilot, I am an FA. I love the compartments because they allow me to remove smaller pieces when the galley doesn't have much flight crew storage space, so I fill the larger attachment with my efam, kindle, a small purse with basics for running off the aircraft for coffee, and headphones, tissues, chapstick, etc. The small attachment holds headphone splitters to lend passengers, extra wings and pins, my jewelry and a few pills and first aid items to keep handy. I love the gazillion spots for pens and flashlights, the outside pocket where I keep my apron, and the huge interior space. Plus the outside slot pockets are handy for my flight passes when commuting.

Excellent, versatile, durable, purpose built flight bag for private pilots
This bag fit my mission perfectly. Quality is absolutely top notch, I have precisely zero concerns about longevity of this bag with years of use. The hand and shoulder straps are sewn around the entire bottom of the bag in one large loop, making any possibility of the hand or shoulder straps ripping out the stitches with heavy use a complete impossibility. The zippers operate one handed with ease, there are no odd shapes or unusual curves that the zippers need to zip across as can be seen with other bags. Some bags require two hands to zip and unzip due to poor design and crinkles because of the way the bag was designed, that is not the case here. The headset pouch has more than enough room to fit even the bulkiest of headsets, such as an old entry level Avcomm headset. The radio pouch is plenty large as well and fits the Yaesu FTL-550 radio perfectly fine with lots of room to spare. These pouches are both padded on all sides. They have two zippers, so you can easily zip up the pouch to allow just the antenna of your handheld radio to stick out the top, without the pouch being half open. These external pouches can easily be removed from the bag to save bulk if desired. The main compartment easily holds the FAR/AIM (when I was a student), PHAK, AFH, a sectional and TAC, metal kneeboard, metal E6B and plastic plotter, the A/FD, and legal pad full of notes, all at the same time. Now as a private pilot, I find it can hold a large 22oz water bottle, my DSLR camera, a gopro, my sectional, A/FD, metal kneeboard, and tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S3) and still have some room to spare. The pen holders on the outside of the bag are excellent placement idea. The pockets on the outside of the headset and radio pouches work perfectly for some folded paper towel storage. They also work very well for rapid access to a sectional and E6B in the cockpit. The bag has padding in every compartment except the far outside pocket, opposite the headset and radio pouches. This outside compartment is pretty thin, Looks designed to hold pens, maybe aircraft keys, logbook, medical cert and things like that. Don't think it is the right place for a tablet, that belongs on inside of bag.The bag itself isn't small, but I think the space it uses is pretty efficient. It is comfortable to carry on the shoulder for short periods, but due to its size, it can flop around your side and become an annoyance for longer walks, at least if you've got the headset and radio bags still attached. As a new private pilot taking friends along for short cross country flights, this bag fits my mission perfectly. It allows me to carry just the right amount of stuff required for these 2-4 hour day trips. This might be too much bag if you do frequent short local trips, or only fly with a tablet and headset.Only one minor complaint about the bag design. When sitting on the ground, the shoulder strap will always drape directly over the zipper for the small outside pocket opposite the headset and radio pouches. I find myself picking up the bag, readjusting the shoulder strap to move it out of the way, before I can unzip that pocket. It really is the only complaint I have, and it is a minor one.Overall, if this size of bag fits your mission, I can very highly recommend it. It is a no frills, completely practical, highly durable and well designed bag, which I have no question will last me for several years at least. No unnecessary corporate branding or color schemes.

Great flight bag
Great flight bag. Plenty of storage for anything you need. I carried my ALL of my ground school books in it plus my headset, plus my logbook, plus my iPad, plus more study material, plus my flashlights, plus the barf bags, plus my Stratus, etc...and still had room for the handheld radio in the external pouch. The zippers have held strong. The bag has put up with my abuse and still looks fantastic. It is a little bit bulky but it should be considering what all it can carry. I throw it in the back seat of the 172 and have everything I need conveniently stored in one place. You cannot go wrong with this flight bag.

The Right Stuff
LOVE the compartmental design. Good quality. Great for Private Pilot use. Probably NOT for a commercial pilot who would be using it all day every day. I don't think it would stand up to the frequent use for an extended period of time. Comes with an adjustable shoulder strap. The only thing I would like to be different IS the strap; it crosses over the top of the bag and attaches "catty corner" on the bag. Makes it a pain to get into the bag while the strap is on, especially one-handed. Would buy again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Good value pilot bag - perfect for an EFB.
Just the right size for me! I just got this bag today and I'm already in love with it. It is just big enough for my EFB, personal iPad, headset, safety vest and other things I use for work. The materials seem very sturdy and durable, with the exception of the handle strap (the snaps seem like they will break easily over time). Overall, it appears to be a great value for the money.

Lacking "high-quality" feel
It works. Not impressed on quality.

I'm ready to buy another!
I've used this bag for 3 years straight. The Velcro is starting to wear down. Otherwise it's holding up very well! The leather hand strap is starting to tear but it's not effected the way I use the bag.
