I have used Apple computers and phones for 20 years as I was in US and I was happy with them . I then found I could not down load zoom to my MacBook Pro for a course because it is “too old “ although in perfect condition. I bought this computer from Amazon for 10% of price I paid for the MacBook . I find it comparable in battery , speed , it is much lighter and actually prettier . It is nothing like some of reviews I read which described it a tinny or like a child’s computer. It is fantastic in every way ! I love it and prefer the look to the Apple Mac steel casing . I actually feel foolish to have spent so much money on a MacBook Pro which becomes obsolete after a few years , when I could have bought 10 of these computers for same price !!! I do have to learn how to navigate Microsoft. This computer comes with version 10 downloaded , and a month free trial of full window arena.For anyone considering a computer this is absolutely great 👍🏽 a pleasure to use and camera and mic work perfectly. I actually went first to my local PC world to be told they had nothing available under £ 389 - nothing! I ordered this from amazon For £219 at 5pm ,it arrived next day at 3pm with Prime , safely packed . It took 3 hours to charge completely ( for 3.5 hours of battery life ) and I have been using ever since . I am delighted 😀 I will update if anything goes wrong but at present this is superb value . It is a beautiful looking computer, and it works perfectly!

****EDIT*****Wow. Great laptop. SHOCKING customer service. The earphone port didn’t work, fine. But the way I’ve been passed around for over a week between LincPlus and Amazon. Its petty and stupid. I’m very angry as how they haven’t taken responsibility for their product and have resorted to this.As I said it’s a great laptop, but if anything goes wrong, god help you. Their customer service is slow, unreliable and terribly trained. Maybe wait a little longer to buy as their employees obviously need to brush up.I’ll have my refund and buy a different brand with better customer service.Pay peanuts get monkeys. I thought I was getting a load of crap with this, but it's FASTER than my £560 Lenovo Thinkpad (I'm not joking! it was shocking and caused so much stress)I currently have 6 google tabs open including youtube, 4 Word documents and Spotify playing and it's taking it all in its stride.The size, weight, the thickness and it's so responsive, every aspect of this laptop is perfect.Keep the piece of plastic that comes on the screen as the keys on the keyboard leave dirty residue on the screen when its shut.But... the build quality is a little plasticky and cheap, and the earphone port has stopped working and just plays out of the speakers. Luckily it pairs with Bluetooth earphones very quickly and efficiently, again another feature I couldn't do with my old laptop and this one does it so easily, improve the build quality and I'll never use another brand again.Overall, it's brilliant. I was sceptical because of the price but its a serious bargain and perfect in almost every way.Choosing a laptop is HARD, this makes it so easy so if you're on the market for a new laptop this one should be your new BFF, just charge it for 4-5 hours before you use it for the first time!!

My review is based on the price, not on a high spec laptop.Some reviews are unfair considering the price. Complaining about memory etc when you can see from the specs the memory isn't great. I've read a review that has a list of "problems" but they got what they paid for. You can't expect a high-performance laptop for £230, you don't get cheaper than that.I say that because if you are expecting a high-performance laptop you're going to be disappointed. It's not fast, it's 4GB RAM. It's not got loads of memory, again it's only 64GB storage, so if you plan on saving a lot of files it wouldn't be ideal for you. It does have a cheap feel to it but that's because it is cheap. If you are looking for a cheap laptop to surf the net and to write documents then this will do.

only had it delieverd today , its the worst budget laptop ive evr had in my life the keys are very poor qualltly , feels cheep and . horrible to type on , it missis letters if you type to fast , feels like a toy to me . feels terrible , the screen gos black often too , I got this as I needed a laptop by today and the reviews were all great .

I bought this purely for internet browsing, emails, word processing and reading books/publications on. I've added a solid state drive in the easy acces bay underneath for storage of books and documents, taking it up to 250GB. I probably didn't need to do that as a micro SD card in the available slot would have done the same for a not a lot of difference in cost.One big annoyance is it is NOT windows 11 compatable. My fault for not specifically checking but I would have expected a new computer sold since windows 11 release to be upgradable.It's OK for what I want it for. It is not a cheap games computer and not lightening fast. Dispaly is OK.A cheap windows notebook which is what I wanted. If you like a chromebook, this is redundant. There are better chromebooks than this for the money.
