Dog magnet
I purchased this bed in the hopes that my little foster pit bull, whose favorite place to sleep is in the center of MY bed with her head resting on my pillows, might leave me some room to sleep! I opted for the memory foam model, thinking that the supportive foam and padded bolsters might mimic what she liked about being on my bed. Well, so far, so good -- she curled up in the Furhaven bed immediately and hasn't jumped up on my bed all day!Do pay attention to the size of the sleep area when ordering, as the bolsters take up about 30% of the surface area of the bed. That's fine if your dog likes to sleep curled up, as mine does, but if your pet prefers to stretch out more, you might want to order up a size. The only negative is that I'm not confident this bed is going to be super durable in the long run (compared to, say, my Big Shrimpy bed that has outlived multiple canine companions and is still in great shape). The padding in the bolsters isn't very dense and feels like it might flatten down over time, and the cover fabric, while very soft, is not as durable as a canvas or twill cover. Still, it's not outrageously priced for what it is, it's an attractive design (and even matches my bedroom paint color!), and the dog loves it. I will update the review if anything changes, but so far I'm pleased with my purchase.

Amazing Dog Bed (Read for Full Detail)
I've purchased 3 of these - 2 tempur-pedic ones and an orthopedic one (eggshell mattress). I've had the orthopedic one for years, and it's still holding up extremely well considering how we've had 1-2 dogs who are very active and playful. I bought a tempur-pedic one not too long ago for a relative's house when we visit and IT'S SO COMFORTABLE. I myself have fallen asleep on it multiple times and my dog absolutely loves it. So I got another tempur-pedic one for our house and my dog loves sleeping in it now. The orthopedic one is mostly good for chilling, but not for sleeping. My dog has very bad joints and is much more energetic and mobile with the tempur-pedic one. We'll keep the orthopedic one for maybe by our dining room or office, but if you've got a dog with joint issues I HIGHLY recommend the tempur-pedic one.

Nice beds
I put a lot of research time into buying my dog beds. I have 4 dogs (always will:) and want the best. The puffy ones may look nice, but will wear down quickly. I believe memory foam is just as good for dogs as it is for people. Think about lying on a hard surface with your elbows! This is a nice thick bed, and I LOVE the way it looks. The bolsters are something I'm trying out, and my dogs seem to either like them a lot, or don't really care. I got two Large instead of the jumbos simply for cleaning and mobility factors. The linen color/fabric that I chose seems very durable. The fuzzy bed part is soft and we'll see how it wears in the coming years. So far I'm very happy with the beds and hope Furhaven will be my go-to for beds in the long term.

Puppy approved (kinda)
I think this was out of stock when I purchased so I had to get the “used in very good condition.” It came in perfect condition. It is super soft material. It doesn’t seem like it would be “chew proof” but still it is quality made. The cover is not real hard to get off and on but it’s not extremely easy either. I will say inside the cover is just a cheap egg crate foam. Not memory foam or any kind of special cooling foam. However, it’s still nice and soft. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because while my baby does like this, she actually prefers the one I bought for her big brother more. (That might just be because she knows it’s his and that’s how she is lol) Still, it’s a nice quality bed and I would recommend for the price.

Used: Beware of broken zippers upon arrival.
They are NOT chew proof. The softness, well, we didn't get to find out long enough. First day they arrived. We opened it. No smell. We set them out for our 8yr old chihuahua and our 3yr chihuahua. We noticed the zippers didn't work. Zippers would not stay zipped and then they didn't zip at all. So the pillows came out. I don't know how they hid the zippers being broken, but they did. I did buy them used. But it didn't say they were broken. Well, anyhow, they did arrive this way, and we took notice. It was so late at night. We didn't do anything about it. The trouble of sending them both back, defective, is too much hassle. I'm just throwing them way, if I can't sew the zippers closed and keep the pillows in. I can't and don't want to know, what the dogs would do if they were aggressive chewers.I can't recommend. Because it wasn't just one pillow. They both had inaccurate descriptions. It was both dog cushions, even though used. So, Do not purchase.I won't be purchasing again.

Cover fell apart after first wash; puppy loved it until then
First, the cons: it's not well made. The sewing job is subpar & after the 1st wash (on delicate) I immediately noticed 3 areas of major unraveling on the zipper, all more than 2 inches long. One was well over 5 inches. Also, since I have a pup, he is still training & has accidents. While the outer, soft cover is washable, the egg-crate foam mattress & fiber stuffing boundary is not. It needs to be replaced or immediately cleaned by hand (which we did) & air dried. They absolutely must not be put into the washer or dryer!I will definitely be contacting the company concerning the outer cover design failure. The pros: my new puppy (a rescue) took to it immediately! He is very comfortable on it &, since it's winter, very warm. We plan on adding cool cotton sheets to it for the summer. He loves sleeping on it, playing on it & just hanging out on it. We tried repositioning it & he immediately dragged it back & plopped down on it to let us know it was HIS bed.Summary: we really wish it was made better, wasn't falling apart after the first wash & of more washable materials, inside as well as out. We would also like an option of a cooler material for the cover for summer months. Our dog loves it, but as owners, we won't purchase this or from this company again.

Dog Loves It
Got a rescue and wanted her to have a comfy place to stretch out that she'd find more appealing than the couch. (Now of course she still wants the couch but this isn't exactly a lousy second choice.)She bit at the bottom of the bed for a bit but we redirected her to a toy and it solved the problem. Adding a blanket on top can also help the transition.Haven't washed the cover yet but will update if any issues. Otherwise it vacuums well and I'd sleep on it if I could fit. Good product.

High price tag, but dogs love!
My dogs absolutely love this bed. I have a 35lb corgi who I bought the bed for originally (she loves to stretch out so a larger bed is preferable for her) and I also have a 120lb Bernese Mountain Dog who has managed to make it work for him although if you have a dog of similar size to him I would definitely go up another size. It’s a great quality bed and the dogs really love how plush it is, and I love the removable cover. It is quite pricey so I hope it holds up well.

Nice upgrade for sleepy Frenchie.
My boy is a loungin' hound. This dog bed definitely fits his needs, ordered the large for a French Bulldog so he has room to move around, It is a bit big for him but he seems to like the extra room. After owning quite a few dog beds that could not be washed this is the optimal solution for keeping it clean. There has been no wear on the cushion yet (about two months in) but he is just about 35lbs. Keeps him off the hard floor, looks great, and should be warm for winter. I Will likely be sticking with this brand for dog beds in the future.

Bonne dimension
Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

VERY PLUSH AND COMFY FOR MY PET
Ordered the FurHaven Jumbo Plus Velvet Waves Orthopedic Sofa Bed-Granite Gray (Code: 48649537) for my 1-1/2 Year Old Brindle American Terrier Pit Bull "Callie". She is approximately 80-85 lbs and the Jumbo Plus Sofa Bed from FurHaven is perfect for her- she loved it from the first day! For the size of my dog I probably could've ordered the Jumbo vs ordering the Jumbo Plus; however, the extra room provided by the Jumbo Plus allows her to really stretch out in any position she wants! I ordered my bed on Dec17/20 and it was delivered Jan11/21 to me and I am in Canada. Sturdiness, Quality and Style are all 5 Stars (Quality Product). Total Cost taxes and freight in-delivered was $192.67 CAD ($150.00 USD). Because of the hefty price I give my review a 4.5 stars out of 5.
