I do not usually write reviews at all. But I need everyone to know this is the absolute best dry shampoo you can buy. I have very thick hair and washing it is an entire ordeal, so I only do it about once a week. I need dry shampoo for the other days and I have tried nearly every single one on the market. I mean it, I have tried the expensive Oribe and K18, any brand a salon has ever used on my hair, cheap Bed Head, Batiste, or Not Your Mothers, you name it. But none of them come even close to Aveda. it smells good, blends well, and my hair doesn't look flat and greasy again in a few hours. It lasts a long time too so the price is totally worth it.

my favorite dry shampoo. smells great and works really well. i can use it for about 4 days before i start getting a buildup of overall product. i highly recommend this product, and i have dark thick longer hair. it rejuvenates it and gives it lift!

My favorite! I really like the application method. It does not clump up and gives my hair more volume. It seems pricey but it lasts a long time so it turns out to be a good value

I love this hair powder— especially after a massage when I don’t want to wash/dry/straighten the hair before finishing the rest of my day. It puffs in, and works particularly well on my blonde hair (the powder is white). No need to over puff— a little cloud will do you.

The first time I used the Aveda Shampowder, I used entirely too much product and my hair was straight up gross. It didn't feel like hair, but it did have a lot of volume. I wound up watching a Youtube tutorial on how to apply it. Hair parted in small sections, the bottle squeezed lightly in the center, delivering a light "puff" of product. Applying it the correct way made a huge difference. I had shaken the bottle in globs all over sections of hair. I have tried quite a few powder dry shampoos trying to find my "holy grail" so I can stop using my favorite aerosol. This one comes close. The two things I don't like about it, the price and the scent. It's one of the more expensive dry shampoos tried, even though it does work and will probably last quite a while in powder form. The scent is light, but I am someone that suffers from scent triggered migraines and the scent of this is right on the edge of being a problem for me. With that being said, I probably will purchase again when I run out.

This is the only dry shampoo I have used (I’ve tried so many over the years) that works for my thin/fine blonde hair. It doesn’t leave a gross residue, once you rub it in it’s not gray or making my hair look white and powdery.

This came unsealed and sort of opened. It wasn’t in any outer aveda packaging or box either- very odd. Made me question its quality.

I have tried darned near every dry shampoo on the market, always preferring non-aerosols. THIS IS THE BEST ONE OUT THERE! Definitely more expensive than other options, especially many of the ones here on Amazon, but it is worth it. I always come back to this Aveda dry shampoo!

I've been using for a few years and it helps to give lift to my fine hair. Also, I like that it doesn't weigh my hair down or feel greasy or dirty. My hair feels clean longer.
