Very original notebook! Its piece of sail in the middle makes it easy to recognize and reminds me of my sailing trips while I am at work!I have used many Notebooks in my life and this is the most perfect I have found! This Notebook has the perfect size for meetings, it's really good quality, you can see the bookbinding threads so its pages do not fall apart. It also has small space to save documents or pictures that is very useful.I think this notebook can be a very original gift for a sailor!

20$ for a notebook and the lanyard and cover are coming off to poor glue or application during manufacturing. I have some Gorilla glue and can fix the problem, but should not have too the moment I open it. If you don’t modify this product, it will not last. I’m expecting more issues. This is day one. I do like the sail segment on a positive note.

Product was fine as a journal but expected something more seaworthy than a piece of sail pasted to the front. Covers were bent during shipping. quality is ok but not very durable. Nice idea but will use it at home not in the outdoors where I need it.

All indications and advertising statements feature this item handmade by someone in the region of Cape Horn. I felt impelled to support this and provide a benefit and wages for what seemed to be an integrity based product.When I received the product, it states that item is only designed in the region but made in China, obviously an advertising misrepresentation.It should state in the product description that this item is in fact made elsewhere than what one might be led to believe.

This is such a lovely notebook. It does everything it should - the pages lie flat, the cover is well made and sturdy, but it is also really beautiful. It is perfect for someone into sailing or travel. I love that it includes a piece of a sail that has traveled to the end of the earth (what a cool idea!) and that the bookmark is made from sailing rope. It is rare to find at once so practical AND beautiful.

This is a great quality notebook. It is truly unique that this item is made from sails from yachts. This was bought as a gift for my dad. My dad is a sailor, and he definitely enjoyed receiving this notebook.
