The media could not be loaded.    Just arrived 2016-Dec-07, Had trouble downloading the software. The address given with documentation (0ne small paper) did not work.[...]Had to search the web. I found this address:[...][...]I copied and pasted this address I found on that page:[...]This worked.I later tried the original address again after restarting my computer and it worked, don't know why.[...]Installation was easy, the user license agreement did not show, I clicked on agree.The software is called: ViewPlayCapThe image is not great, but the depth of field (focus) is very shallow, it focuses at a specific distance any thing different makes the image look out of focus (blurry).The LED light on off button is on the bottom of the USB plug so I cannot push it with out lifting my docking station or laptop.The camera (endoscope) works with Microsoft Windows 10 (Surface Pro) and the apps I have tried it with.Microsoft Camera app[...]To record a video you must first go to File and type a file name, (Set Capture File)OKIt asks for the file size, space on disk.Then you wait a few seconds, and click on the capture Icon, wait again,You get another prompt (click OK)It will start recording.Click the capture icon again and it stops, but there is no feed back that it saved other than the screen freezing for a few seconds.I could not see how to play the video from the software (ViewPlayCap).I had to go to where I saved the file and play it.I wish it had a protective cap, glass or plastic that will not distort the image, and one to protect it when stored.The mirror is not glass as far as I can tell. It seems to be plastic with a reflective back.I rapped some electrical tape around the camera, with a few millimeters beyond the lens.The lens gets hot.I am happy with this, it is the first one I have purchased so I do not know what a good one or an excellent one is like.I included a snap shot, it is very difficult to hold the endoscope steady, this is typical of any macro photography. I tried to prop my hand on a box and taped a stick on the lens to help steady my hands but it still look blurry due to motion. The image looks good before you take the snap shot.I posted a video, it is 100 MB, maybe I should not have done that, it took a really long time to upload.

Camera works with most any OTG/USB camera app in the Google Play store, you are not required to use the 3rd party app suggested in the supplied directions. Image is clear and in full color. LED lighting control is on the USB connector, which is quite convenient. I like the dual purpose USB connector, despite not having used the larger portion yet! I feel like it wouldn't stand up too well to repeated switching between USB-A and USB-micro, but that would be expected from such a small working mechanism. Not a lot of room for robustness there.

I cannot give a better review as the camera can not be tested efficiently since the programming that has to be downloaded does not work correctly. It shuts down / freezes up after approximately 3-4 minutes of use. If programming can be improved to stop freeze up then possibly I could give a better review.

Connected right away to a Samsung s5 and Samsung note 4 worked well with the adroid app. very easy to use.

App link would not installed on any of 3 android devices I tried.Right angle mirror was broken upon arrival.Still functions as expected with alternate app.

doesnt connect to anything. not sure what type of connector it is. will be returning.

You get what you pay for and this is no exception not waterproof as listed and not rigid enough to use as a snake cam
