Smokes like it’s gonna catch fire
First off it is gigantic. If you’re trying to do anything precise this won’t work. It’s tip is an inch wide and it’s super tip heavy. It go hot enough to do what I needed which was to re-solder high heat connections but it smoked and smelled like burning plastic the whole time. I took it apart and couldn’t see anything burning. Used it again and it smoked again. Long story short it’s a solution. Not a good solution but a solution. Just be sure to use it with a fume hood or outside.

Top of handle smoked for about an hour otherwise works good.
