This has been a life saver! We have taken it camping and used it while building. It has ran a fan all night, lights, a computer, a printer , & charged our phones . We have used the panel and also car charger and worked wonderfully and was charged back up quickly. Love it!

A coach for my wife

Received this and the packaging is beautiful! Since I am a fussy engineer type, I put this to a careful test. The solar panel, at peak sun, did not produce beyond 65 watts...tried all angles and configurations. The panel received was different from the listing on Amazon and was very floppy and difficult to keep flat to the sun, so I had to fashion a "rack" from scrap wood to get a true angle for the sun. The company has an insert that attempts to lower expectations for the solar panel (70-80 watts), but it is a sham for a poor functioning product. Secondly, the Power Station was advertised to have "Smart" surge protection, so I tested it. Long story short, when the load goes above 600 watts, the voltage appears to lower to force the load back to 600 watts, and eventually the thing shuts off if you continue push the so called "surge" even a little further. This is fine for a resistive load, but don't try an inductive load like a motor or electronics!Last item...I tried to initiate a return as "Different from Website Description" and heard nary a peep back from the company. They told Amazon "sure, we accept the return" but without a return label for the two packages and expected us to pay for the shipping...well that's ok, but I would have perhaps settled paying more for a larger system, but had zero communication back from them. I would NOT purchase one of these from this company... Bluetti, Jackery or OUPES look like better choices. I have donated this unit to a local church and will purchase a better unit from one of these other companies.

Fast and efficient

I got it in Sept 2021 and today in April 2022 the unit is not charging. The original cable insulation was damaged and I thought getting a new one will fix the issue: < 5% charge over the winter in California.At the very beginning, the panel charges at 70-80 some watt - never exceeded 85w, I thought it is rated 120w? Emailed customer service and the reply is that it is very normal and by the specification.The unit is inoperable so I forgot about it. There are some days in March/April this spring when the temperature is 85f outside, yet the unit is NOT charging at all. If the battery received any solar energy at all, it used up due to WiFi being on and can't be turned off.The reason for 2 star - and probably should be 1 for such a pricy item, zero live customer support and it wasn't returnable anyway. It's a gamble and I lose.

Only lasts 4 hours running just a fan! Not what I expected, but short term i guess it’s ok!

I was initially very excited for this product. It's well packaged and has a clean design. The instructions are clear and every charging cable you could want is included. Unfortunately the first time I plugged it in it through an error message and started smoking! I immediately unplugged it and the smoking stopped but it's unclear to me what safety protections they have built into the product and why a fuse didn't just blow. I'm a power electronics engineer and a large Li-ion battery smoking is just about the scariest thing I can imagine. The icing on top of the cake is I had to pay for the return shipping myself. I will not be buying any Ecoflow products in the future.
