I needed a "bed" for my very tiny bedroom that would last and look nice, as well as take up as little room as possible. This futon was the perfect fit. Easy to assemble by myself, took maybe 20min, and I'm loving the bed/lounge/sofa arms with their variable positions. My dog and I fit on this even though I'm 5'10 and my dog's a 50lb pitbull. Super comfy, definitely firm - which is how I like and need it - but I experimented with putting a heavier duvet under the mattress and it made it 10x more plush. It's smaller than a twin, but who cares when it's so cute, so comfy, and gives you way more room in cramped quarters than a traditional bed. Very happy with this buy.

I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars. I think this futon is a great value, and perfect for what I need. Assembly was really easy. My concerns would be the sturdiness of the back if unsupported by a wall. If sited in a free-standing area that could be a problem down the road. 1/2 star deduction for that.The bed portion has wooden slats and the mattress isn't thick enough for a side sleeper. Laying on my back is very comfortable. I would not say the mattress is too thin by any means, it's just not ideal for a side sleeper so I took of 1/2 star for that. The thickness problem could be solved by a memory foam topper, but that's another expense.Overall this futon is perfect for my needs. I've created a 'lifeboat' room out of a small patio room because my wife suffered a stroke 2 years ago and no longer has any heat tolerance. This room is equipped with it's own air conditioning from a battery operated unit and off-grid solar. Thus, if we lose electrical service in the summertime (no joke in Las Vegas) we have this room to use until power is restored.

I really like this futon. I am redesigning a spare room into a video game room for all of my gaming stuff and I didn't want something huge, but that did allow me to lie down and sleep (my hubby snores a lot) when I need to. The only drawback I can see for myself is that it isn't quite as soft as I would like it, however that is easily remedied and I expected this to be the case based on other reviewers. The color is spot on in the picture and it is easy to put together (you don't really need instructions beyond the images that are supplied) and easy to lie down and put back up.

This is cute and fit the area we wanted it for but it is not comfortable. I would not recommend it for sleeping especially if you have back or hip problems.

This is a superb little futon, perfect for small spaces. The fabric quality and steel framework are well-made. Everything went together without a hitch. One caveat for short persons: because it doubles as a single bed, the sitting depth might seem a tad deep for normal sitting. But that invites curling up in the cushions, and we'll probably end up having an ottoman around anyway. We did have a small mix-up with the fabric choice - when the cushion arrived, they had sent gray instead of blue, but the seller was so courteous, admitted the mistake at their end, and had another cushion on its way by the next day. The blue fabric turned out to be a lush color, very rich looking without being overly dark. So pleased with the quality of customer care and speedy turnaround time.

This lounger isn't comfortable at all. The back pillows are so thin they offer no support and your back is right against the metal bar. You can feel the wood boards through the thin futon cushion. It hurts to sit in. Awful!

It came in two separate shipments: one with the cushions and mattress, and the other with the metal frame that was fairly easy to put together by myself. I've fallen asleep on it a couple times with the arms down and it's decent enough, but I usually keep the arms up (loud clanks required to adjust it, but it's pretty sturdy) and I sit on it everyday with confidence in its integrity. So far I am very happy with it especially since the cost was so low. It's quite comfortable for me - I don't feel the bars at all like some of these reviews. On the first day, there was a chemical-like smell ti the mattress, but after Febreze and a few hours, it was gone.
