If I have to wear a brace to sleep in, or even awake, this was a good choice. It’s not itchy and fairly simple to put in once you get the hang of it. The metal rod is solid; took more to bend it than I expected.

I have elbow issues and hoped this would really help but it didn't and it hurt to wear. The metal piece has to be bent before putting on so be careful with how you set it because its very difficult to reset it. I ended up throwing it away after realizing it just didn't work for me at all and was quite bulky.Do not recommend.

I went for low cost for the first one of these that I purchased. I am using it for the affliction of Cubital Tunnel. That has to do with entrapment of the nerve that we call the funny bone. I don't know whether it will prevent me from needing surgery, but I wear it at night from Doctor's orders. It is comfortable enough that I can usually tolerate it all night, but there are incidents when I remove it before morning time to get up for the day.

I got this because my elbow has been hurting really bad. I found that for me it works better without the metal rod in it. With the rod in it it does give support but I found that I can't use my arm with it. It prevents you from bending or straightening your arm. With out the rod it gives support and I can still use my arm. For me that was better. I do think it is helping with the pain. I can use my arm without the excruciating pain and stiffness when I have this brace on.
