Elegant Digital Kitchen Timer Stainless Steel - Loud Alarm - Model Charcoal

I've had my share of timers over the years and never bought any that were very expensive and nice to look at. But this one is stainless steel with those large colorful buttons (I got the plum color) and with the strong magnet I can slap it on my refrigerator which is black stainless steel, where it's handy and actually a nice decoration for the fridge door. Simple and easy to use with large bright numbers you could read across a room. And the beeper is loud but not obnoxious and can be easily heard from my kitchen to upstairs office. Setting the desired time is easy and quick and the device is silent when you are setting the time which I like - I hated the beeping sounds in previous models every time I was setting it up. It also has an auto shutoff after 5 min of non-use. I prefer both the auto and a manual shutoff, but I quickly got used to not having the manual shutoff. This timer looks and feels so durable I think I'll have it a long, long time.

Five stars! It is very well-made and the design is attracrive. The little "kickstand" in the back is easy to pull down and is stable. There is also a built -in magnet on the back if one might want to attach it some time to a metal surface (like a file cabinet, maybe?) instead of just having it stand on a counter or table. The buttons are easty to use and the alarm sound is just right - not too loud and jarring but loud enough to hear from an adjacent room. I actually always use mine just to time my PT/OT exercises so I just keep it in front of me on the table. Yesterday I actually took it to me PT/OT yesterday just to let them see what good quality it was because the little plastic Walmartish ones they use there are def inferior to this one even though they do get the job done. Was a bit pricy at about $17.00 but I think it will last a long iome (probably longer than I will - lol!) Highly recommended!

This isn't the cheapest option as far as simple timers go, however, it is an easy favorite among a sea of many not-quite-right options. I was looking to replace an egg timer I bought years ago, on a whim, from Radio Shack. That egg timer lasted longer - so much longer - than I ever thought ANY inexpensive timer would last, and I was set on finding a near exact replacement. Hours of searching and reading reviews later, I determined I simply could not find a twist timer that seemed to meet the reliability and simplicity that my beloved RS timer brought me (reliably since the 1990s!!!). I decided to settle on two timers - one to magnetically stick above my stove that would set quickly and be easy to read (this one), and another more complex Kitchenaid timer that I could theoretically use indoors and outdoors for my green egg and other hardy uses. Long story short, after using this gorgeous timer, I returned the other and haven't looked back. The design is simple, but the unique combination of its easy-to-read display, its ridiculously simple-to-set design and its durability and portability has given it (dare I say) a "je ne sais quoi" that has made me forget all about the ugly old egg timer. The magnet is excellent; it easily sticks to the stainless display above the stove, but it also easily slips into a pocket if wanted. The alarm is loud enough to hear from a distance without being annoying. Yes, it starts to count up again once the alarm goes off. Yes, the buttons have a satisfying click as you press them. Yes, you can hold down the buttons to make things go faster. Best timer to date. Definitely worth the extra couple bucks I paid over the other options. Really lovely. Can't believe I wrote such a long review about a timer.

I like everything about this timer, except one thing. It is a nice looking, easy to use, functional and easy to clean. The stand is handy and the magnet is strong enough to keep it on my refrigerator. The alarm is loud and a little annoying but definitely gets your attention. And it is a good value. What I don’t like is the lack of a beep when you are pressing the buttons. I don’t need a beep when I am setting the timer, but what I think it needs is a confirming beep on the Start/Stop button. I use this almost daily for brewing coffee and I have to start it and start pouring the hot water. It doesn’t always start when I press the button and I have to focus on pouring hot water and then notice it didn’t start. Super annoying

timer is attractive and loud. Great alarm. Magnet holds it to the microwave front and does not slip. A good purchase.

THIS IS THE ONLY PRODUCT I HAVE EVER WRITTEN A REVIEW FOR. I wrote it 4 years ago. This Timer is great. I don't know how many times I have dropped it. Usually it's safe from me attached to the fridge by magnet, but sometimes I grab it to use outside the kitchen. I'm leaving the content of my prior review here because I don't know if this post will be separate, or if it will replace my prior review. Anyway, yeah, still going strong! I receive nothing for posting this - I have no connection to this company, other than the fact that they sold me an awesome timer for a low price 5 years ago. My old review follows here: just wanted to thank you guys for making a great Timer! It's still going strong and I have had absolutely no issues with it! When I received this Timer in the Mail, it came with a lifetime warranty, and a small Card that basically said: we want this to be the last Timer you ever have to buy. Well, so far so good! I've had other Timers before I got this one and they all seemed to stop working within a few months. For all you kids out there looking for a reliable Timer get this one. This Timer is very easy to use with all the Buttons on the face below a pretty big display that I can read from across the room. BONUS = it's magnetized so it will stick to any metal surface. I put mine on the side of my fridge and bada bing! It has stuck there ever since - and you can operate it with one hand (one finger really) because it doesn't budge when you tap the buttons! I rarely write a review of ANYTHING, but this one's a keeper and I'm glad I can count on it (get it?)!

It was a little disturbing to have to go to their web site to find out how to get into the battery compartment, and how to reset it to zero, and since it goes up one digit at a time, it would take a while to set for a long cook time, but other than that, it's great! The beep is loud, but doesn't cause an adrenaline rush if it's right next to you on the table, it looks nice, and seems accurate. I'm happy with it.

Sturdy, well made. Plenty loud. Big Surprise.....a Magnet that actually HOLDS ! My only issue is no ON/OFF switch. Aside from that, it is exactly what I needed.

Buen producto, Simple, Práctico, Suena fuerte la alarma. No hay mucho que decir, se ve muy durable y de una calidad más que decente por l oaue pagaste.

This digital timer is large, with intuitive design that makes it very easy to use. The display is also easy to read, and the alarm fairly loud, sufficient for a senior with moderate hearing loss to hear. I got this for my elderly mom for use to time her exercises. She has arthritis of the hand that make it difficult to use her fingers effectively, but it was very easy for her to use this timer and its buttons.

The BIG numbers are a real plus for us old folks.

Delivered on time. Easy to use. Simple elegant design.
