Really bad
"The first blast was loud enough. The second blast sounded exactly like a big fart, and the airhorn stopped working! I believe it was a message from the company that **you deserve a fart** because you trusted their product."

LOUD LOUD LOUD !!!
I carry this in my right hand the entire time I'm walking our little, 9.5 pound dog - we've had several encounters with unleashed dogs coming for her and it was terrifying. I sounded this horn in the house to try it out ... OMG! All I can say is it's LOUD and I cannot imagine any dog not running from the sound. If you decide to use it for this same purpose, I recommend you don't (do not) use a retractable leash (lack of control of your dog) and ensure you've wrapped the handle of your leash around your hand. Should you need to use this product, your dog WILL likely pull hard and FAST to get away from the sound and you might then lose control of your dog in the process. I FEEL SO MUCH SAFER CARRYING THIS LIGHTWEIGHT, POWERFUL YET SAFE "WEAPON" while walking my little dog!

Worked to scare off a black bear
Had a number of bear visits as we have bird feeders as do the neighbors. Yelling, clapping hands etc. no go to scare it off. Just beeping this horn did nothing. Hold down the button for a real long blast and off it ran. Bought a larger capacity one for next time.

I love it because bears hate it.
