OOK 50683 1-1/4" Vinyl-Coated Steel Cup Hooks, White Mug Hangers, 1-1/2lbs (15-Piece)

I have wanted to make an espresso bar in my new house and these hooks help complete the look. I have pretty crystal globe espresso cups, and wanted to display them underneath the cupboard next to the espresso machine. Measure your handles, though! These hooks are a half inch larger than the other hooks, which was perfect for my cups and I think most coffee mugs, too. If I had bought the 3/4" hooks, they wouldn't fit.Also, pro tip: Use a small bit on a drill to pre-drill a hole where you want to put the hook, but make sure you use a smaller bit than hook, obviously. It makes it SO much easier to install the hook if there is a starter hole.My cups are quite heavy, nearly a pound each, and these hooks hold them just fine. They are also lined with a non-slip material, which is nice. Great product.

I'm a bit disappointed because I wanted large hooks and I looked at the product dimensions and misunderstood that they were referring to the box they come in, NOT the actual hooks. I have 1 inch rods and I wanted to use these to hold that rod. Clearly I cannot -they are small.The quality looks fine though so I can't give them a bad rating. Just beware that these are small. The 1 and 1/4 is the length from the screw to the curve.

I know that these are for mugs but they have been a nice life hack for organizing in my small home. I stagger hung them in my closet so now my scarves and belts are all nicely hung instead of in a pile in the dresser, they look great in my kitchen as well and I hung 2 baskets by my sink so I could place all the random cleaning stuff in them rather cluttering my counter as well as in my pantry to hang stuff. I hang towels and even my dog collars, anything that I can hang to keep clutter off the floor or off the counters. When you live in an extremely small space you have to go up rather than out.

These are nice hooks, but the reason I am giving them only 3 stars, is that they are listed as mug hooks, and they are far too small for my mugs. These hooks are fine for regular, generic sized mugs, but they were not big enough for the wider handled hand made mugs I have. If anyone has any suggestions for BIG mug hooks, I'd love to hear it! I have been searching everywhere...note: the sellers were very kind about me returning these.

These work great for my purpose. I'm using them for outside Christmas lights on the underside of the studs supporting the eaves of the roof. They are well made and coated with vinyl to protect against rust. Sure made life easier putting the lights up and taking them down. Once the hooks were in, I just use the end of a broom handle to set the cord in place. We switched to led lights and they all work!

Disappointed in the fragile nature of these hooks. Even with pilot holes, I've broken off 3 hooks when attempting to screw them into hard wood. They work easily with yellow pine, so most are now used in our shop. When using with hard wood such as oak, perhaps a pilot hole only slightly smaller than the diameter of the hook will allow you to fully screw in the hook without the hook breaking off. I recommend only for soft wood.

These are perfect. I pre-drilled a hole and then these just screwed right in. They hold my mugs perfectly and look really nice as well. The only downside is that they don't hold mugs with really fat handles but since I only have a few of those, it's been no problem. They do hold the medium wide handles as well as the more common narrow ones so I really can't complain. Cleared out a ton of my cupboard space!

Perfect for my mugs. My husband wasn’t convinced the particle board shelf would hold the hooks for long so I put a dot of super glue in each pilot hole before screwing in the hooks. They feel solid and hopefully stay for a while. The soft coating makes it easy to hang up the glass mugs without worrying about slipping or chipping.
