Question 1

Hi, would this product help a scar on my legs that is tem years on from a car accident

Accepted Answer

Hi Prandai - unfortunately, it would be very difficult for a scar that old and set to see as much desired progress as a newer scar. Once a scar's foundation has been set it become much more difficult to reduce or remove without other methods. For example, an older scar that is lifted may require dermabrasion techniques in conjunction with our scar gel to see desired results. Please note, we have a 100% Satisfaction guarantee under our White Glove Treatment program, so it never hurts to try! But a 10 year old scar will most likely need more than what this product can provide. Wishing you all the best, The HealFast Medical Team

Question 2

Question 3

Will this help with stretchmarks?

Accepted Answer

Hi - There is some evidence to suggest that medical-grade silicone can support and help with stretch marks. But per our Medical Team's opinion the current studies have been limited and small scale, and thus, more data is truly needed to make a full determination of efficacy. Below we have provided one of the case studies reviewed for your reference should you want to research in greater detail. Wishing you all the best, The HealFast Medical Team.

(Ud-Din et al.82) Conducted a double-blind RCT evaluating the effect of topical silicone and placebo gel applied to two sides of the abdomen of 20 women. Following daily application, outcomes were evaluated using biopsies, tissue tonometry, full-field laser perfusion imaging, spectrophotometric intracutaneous analysis and subjective evaluation.

Results demonstrated increased melanin and decreased haemoglobin, collagen and pliability over the 6-week period in both groups. Histology also demonstrated a reduction of rete ridges on both sides.

These findings indicate a potential beneficial effect of massage on SD. Compared with placebo, increased collagen and reduced pigmentation in the silicone-treated group was reported. Although this study demonstrates positive results, it is limited by the relatively small number of patients.

Question 4

Accepted Answer
