Update: Unfortunately, I am seeing a significant reduction in attenuation. This is despite following the strict guidance for laundering the fabric. My guess is that the fabric is simply too thin and delicate to handle the stress created across the seams, and tiny holes which leak the EMFs are being created. The canopies were a significant financial investment and I am disappointed. I suspect we will be moving forward with shielding paint in our bedrooms in lieu of fabric canopies.--------------------------------------------------Among the many environmental triggers for our health issues, EMFs are a serious threat. Since experiencing and witnessing the affects from our home in 2017, I have read and watched nearly everything I can find on the subject. I have also amassed a respectable collection of meters, which measure RF, EMI (dirty electricity), electric and magnetic fields. This Blocsilver fabric shields radiation from the RF (wireless) signals, and it's the least expensive I have been able to find for the level of attenuation. I have used this fabric to create canopies for our California king sized bed, my 2 kids' twin beds, and our dogs' sleeping crate. The pink and blue tents in the photos are items I found on Amazon which make a convenient 'skeleton' for the kids' EMF fabric canopies. I built a PVC pipe frame for our master bed, and used rubber tipped clips (also from Amazon), to secure the fabric. I am not skilled in the sewing department, so I had to find an alterations store, who charges me ~$80/canopy to stitch the pieces together according to my instructions. The fabric comes in pieces approximately 10'x5' in size, so it will take almost 5 pieces to make a ~15'x~15' canopy large enough for a twin sized mattress on the floor, draped over the tents shown in the pictures. If you use a bedframe raised off the ground, you will need more fabric to reach the floor. Since the fabric contains metal, it will need to be grounded and you can find grounding cables with clips on the lessemf website. Nearby power outlets are the most convenient grounding source, but that will potentially conduct EMI (dirty electricity) from the home's wiring into the fabric. To mitigate the issue, we turn off the circuit breakers for each of the bedrooms at night and run extension cords from other outlets to power critical things like sound machines, air filters, and my husband's CPAP machine in the rooms overnight. Eventually I hope to upgrade to a remote-controlled circuit breaker from the emfsleepsafe website, just to make our lives a bit easier. We do not use WiFi in our home, but we do live within close proximity of several visible cell towers and an airport. The kids’ rooms are closest to the cell towers. One layer of the Blocsilver fabric is not enough to reduce the RF levels to the ‘green’ zone on my Safe & Sound Pro RF meter in their beds. I have added a 2nd layer of Blocsilver fabric so their beds now measure within the recommend safe levels for sleeping by the Building Biology Institute. RF signals travel through walls and structures, so if your bed is not on a ground floor, you will also need shielding fabric under the bed. Since it doesn’t need to be sheer for air flow, I recommend the cheaper grounding sheets sold on the lessemf website. They come in different sizes, and I have found that I need to purchase several and overlap them to get full ground coverage.I have had the older canopies for 1.5 years now, and I will update this review if/as they begin to lose their shielding capacity. Eventually, I would like to use shielding paint on the walls and film on the windows, so we are protected 24/7 and don’t have to bother with the bed canopies and grounding anymore.Yes, all of this is a pain. And yes, it's expensive. But the disturbing relationship between the FDA, FCC, and telecommunications industry, coupled with the scientific research demonstrating the danger has lead me to believe this will be the next tobacco scandal. Although I suspect it will be decades before anyone starts to take it seriously. In the meantime, I have no intention of making myself and my family this nation's guinea pigs. And I really couldn't care less who thinks I'm crazy. ;-)

Fantastic product and customer service!
I purchased a large amount of cloth to sew two customized bed sleep sanctuaries that were lower so the ceiling fans above the bed would be able to be used. My order shipped in two packages and I received one and nothing for several days. I contacted customer support at Blocsilver and they had already pre-notified me of the delay. I'd missed the message in Amazon msg section. They were so helpful and nice, and the second part of my order arrived the next day. We have been sleeping in the protected sleep sanctuaries I made out of Blocsilver cloth for 9 months and love them! I sleep so much deeper and no longer have trouble falling asleep. My chronic illnesses are healing and going away, and my headaches have nearly gone as well. I highly recommend this product and company!

Allergic reaction.
Yes it blocks out emfs, but it made me have some kind of allergic reaction. When i was handling it, my skin got really itchy. Still i set it up to see what would happen. Then throughout the week i started coughing because i started getting a really itchy throat. Then along with that my nose started to get congested like crazy. No i didnt get a cold i felt fine actually, minus the allergies. One thing to note is that I NEVER get allergies or even colds. Im pretty sure im allergic to something in this fabric. Everynight i come back home and get anywhere near my bed, the allergies get worse and keeps me from sleeping. I got this fabric so that i could sleep better not wake up coughing in the middle of the night. I dont know exactly what was happening, but my body was intensely rejecting whatever was in the fabric. After a few nights i tore down the fabric i set up and stored it in a box in my closet labeled: "biohazard". gonna have to wash all of my bedding and vacuum and wipe down my entire room. I AM TRULY ANNOYED. YOU HAVE DISRUPTED MY SLEEP. YOU HAVE INCURRED MY WRATH.but i do recognize that not everyone will have this kind of allergic reaction. I just wanna advise that if you do, make sure to keep the packaging so that you can return it and get your money back. Otherwise, yes it does work to block out emfs. That is why this is not one star.

Blocks EMF...But Seems Unsafe to Use As Clothing.
Silver nitrate is an eye-irritant. So when handling this product, if you then rub your eyes, you will get a burning sensation.I cut a small piece of this netting to use as a turban to shield my head. It actually works well blocking emf's when used this way, but after a while, the silver nitrate chemical leaches down and irritates my eyes. Also, it has an anti-septic odor, which is pleasant, but doesn't seem healthy to breathe in for any extended period. So...the bottom line.....I'm going to have to try another fabric for clothing purposes.

Update: I tested it with the RF detector
It worked at first but after one wash per instructions it seemed to reduce the effectiveness, I wrapped it around my phone and it didn't reduce the signal, so sad :( I was so happy about it.Update: When tested with the RF detector, it still does seem to reduce the RF level. I just need to wrap my phone with this fabric really well with a few layers.
