Blythe Grey Trellis Power Loomed Area Rug, 8' x 10'

This review is of the 8'x10'. (I first ordered the 6'7"x9' and was surprised there is a difference between the two; that one is compared below). Very pleased! Lovely rug, seems good quality. It's not plush, but you can look at the picture and tell that's not what you're ordering. However, even though it's thin the fibers are soft and pretty. Color is true to pic (I got off-white/gray). Rug laid flat with no creases within one day. And the stain resistance is terrific! The FIRST night we laid it down my husband spilled RED WINE on it. Ugh. But we grabbed the Resolve, treated it immediately, and there's NO TRACE of any strain whatsoever. Amazing. We have 3 small boys though so we'll see how this holds up over time. Regarding the 6'7"x9' version. I returned it and ordered the bigger one simply because once I put it in my space I decided I really preferred a larger size. I debated just making due with the smaller one because of thr significant price difference, but I'm really glad I swapped them. It's odd, but it's like there were 2 different manufacturers. Fibers were not as soft and shiney on the smaller version, and we had it laid down for 3 or 4 days but it never fully flattened out. It also came with major creases that we couldn't flatten out. None of those issues on the 8x10. Thankfully I had accidentally kept the plastic wrapper this rug came in (shoved it in a coat closet when company showed up and forgot about it!) so I rolled it back up into it, put some packaging tape around it, and was able to return it for free to Amazon with no issue. SO happy with Amazon's easy return policy!

Okay. I just finished doing a quick spot clean of this rug after throwing a honey bbq sauce covered pork rib across my living room about four times in quick succession (idk why I'm like this). I figured it's probably time to leave a review. I bought this rug in December of 2019. I bought it having already resigned myself to the fact that my cats and I were going to stain it. I'm clumsy and they're, well... cats. So you can only imagine my astonishment when, a year later, after undergoing a barrage of coffee, wine, dirt, tomato sauce, cat vomit, and bbq sauce... it looks just as good as the day I bought it. With some hot water and a little elbow grease, the stains lift right out of this bad boy. I've used both a handheld steamer and a damp paper towel with great success. As far as 'cons' go, the only thing I can think of is that when you put the rug on top of carpeted floor like I did, it has a tendency to bunch up/ripple in certain places where your furniture is placed on top of it. I suspect this is because the rug is quite thin. Cosmetically this might bother some people, but I've never minded it. I think the rug would lay perfectly flat on wood or tile flooring. So yeah, from one clutz to another, if you need a rug to protect your house from you, buy this!!! You won't regret it.

I had this rug saved for months and read all the reviews. It was on sale so I decided to go ahead and finally purchase. I am glad I did but just a few notes to potential buyers: first, the shipping box it came in was barely taped shut. I was surprised it hadn’t come out and gotten damaged. Once unrolled, it did have some edges sticking up but after being weighed down, they have laid flat. I’ve had this for almost a week, so I can’t attest to its stain resistance or anything like that. But is is soft, although thin. We had a few loose yarn thread come up at first but I haven’t seen any more since. It looks really great with any kind of decor and I would agree that it’s not a true white, but I don’t think I would call it gray either. It’s like a dark off white with light cool toned gray accents. The edges seem finished nicely as well. I think with a rug pad it would feel a lot more luxurious. Overall, I would recommend, especially if it can get it on sale. I will update review once something is spilled on it and I am able to test it’s stain reinsurance, which I’m sure won’t be long with three kids.

I am absolutely in love with this rug. Seriously. If I could marry a rug, it would be this one. I was, logically, nervous about having a light colored rug(or a light colored anything) as I have 3 messy, sticky, wild hellion-I mean, lovely children, and a four legged indoor/outdoor vacuum, which is to say, a large-into-everything dog. Oh and a husband who's biggest fetish seems to be wearing his damn shoes in the house. So, indeed, I was very skeptical as to whether this beautiful rug would survive a single day in my house. Well, I'm here to tell you that this rug is indeed magic. All of these reviews about how unbelievable this rug is, are spot on!! It's amazing! Its soft, plush, and comfy to sit or lay on, the edges and corners lay flat, its pattern and size are true and the color matches the ad photos wonderfully. The best part about this rug, though, is that it has yet to acquire a single stain!!! By comparison, my couch(pictured) is only 4 days older than the rug and we have had to clean it twice already. Somehow, this magical, murphey defying roll of incredible woven polyester has been crafted in such a way that all stains are cast off into the abyss, never to be seen or heard from again, much like left socks and Bobby pins. Bottom line, YOU WILL LOVE THIS RUG!!!

Have had for almost 2 years in the spot in our house that is most high traffic (granted we're a childless petless couple). Shows lint and fuzzies pretty easily, but with 1 vacuum it looks brand new again! Soft not scratchy, definitely surprised we only paid ~$170 for an 8x10 rug. We also purchased the Rug Pad Central, RPC38F-810, Premium 3/8" Felt Rug Pad for Hardwood Floors, 8'x10' to go underneath it and it makes it feel nice and padded. One note - given how great a value this rug is, you may see it in other homes. I've seen "my" rug in both my best friend's and my cousin's home (probably doesn't help that the same rug is also available on retailers like Wayfair). If you prefer to have very unique decor you may want to take that into consideration.

Okay, I absolutely love this rug for the aesthetic! It is perfect. It’s hard to tell lighting on a computer/phone screen so I’m sure there is a difference between that and your home lights. For example, if you have bright white LED lights, the rug won’t look as yellow in your home as if you had warm or soft yellow lights. So take those reviews with a grain of salt. We love it. It was my genius idea to put a white rug under our dining table with a 1 and 5 year old so it’s pretty rough under the high chair area haha. I wouldn’t say it is at all stain resistant, but since it is a low pile rug, it’s pretty easy to clean. Spaghetti sauce isn’t ideal 😂 overall it’s beautiful and I am buying the same one in a smaller size for a new space we have. The price is low for such a large area rug, definitely worth it.

I am super disappointed! I ordered my old Bodrum carpet about 7 years ago when my kids were babies and it had been such a great carpet. Well, not it’s stained beyond fixing — my capabilities anyway! But the quality is just as good as ever! It cleaned well for years. Well, I decided to reorder the exact same thing - same link and am heartbroken to find it’s the same pattern but a totally different product. To be fair the price was somewhat lower - but it also looks super cheap like it’s from Walmart. Not that there’s anything wrong with that - if affordable and basic is what you need. It might be hard to see in these photos since they are both rolled up now - but the pile density and thickness is far different now than before - in fact I can sort of pick it up by myself (awkward size, but doable) than the old one which is so heavy I can’t move it alone and it’s still heavy to move with my husbands help. I would give this 2 stars now by comparison to a 5 star- lifetime rug before (well, pre-kids!). The reason l gave 3 is that they did lower the price as well - with tax I paid a little under $200 vs $300ish before (as I recall). Love the pattern - I didn’t fully unroll this but it looks similar (darker grey than mine). It feels very boho chic- a nice mix between contemporary and classic. Good luck!

first i would like to thank Amazon for not only everything in this room but also everything i own in general. especially this rug because i was able to pay monthly payments with my debit card. i change my house constantly and wasn’t willing to buy this rug even though i have loved it for quite a while now due to the fact that i change the vibe up so often. with the payments i was able to see it in the room before paying it all out right. so here is my review of this rug. PROS: -it was packaged in 2 layers of plastic and a box. the rug was rolled tight and there were no wrinkles -it is great quality. this rug is not a pancake. it is fluffy and soft. -it does not have any odd scent.. that is a serious plus -it cleans easily. it rained the day i got it and i found dog paw prints in the rug as a result. i wiped it with a wet rag and it came right off -this is definitely a mid century modern vibe. i am a minimalist typically so i don’t like things to be too busy and this does not feel that way CONS: -the photo looks like the rug is white with almost a charcoal design. it is more like a manila folder color with a grey design. if you have crisp white walls or a fireplace like mine with all white or just decorate in white in general then you will feel like this rug looks either dirty in comparison or out of place -when i say the rug is soft i mean.. it’s not rough. i wouldn’t want to lay on it though. it has this squishyness that is weird because you can feel it crunch down when you walk on it (i hope that made sense) overall great purchase and i will be keeping it.

I’ve had this rug for 7 months or so now and it’s really lovely. It cleans super well. It’s not incredibly thick, but I have real hard wood under the rug and it really softens for floor and the space. I paid a little over £100 and it was worth the wait for it to go on sale!
