I have purchased 6-7 dresses this week , but this is my favorite. It fits perfectly. I think the band across the chest or midsection accentuates every body type. It gives an upscale feel. The dress does not have lining but does not appear to be see through. However I will have to use my cell phone light to see if it’s see through. There is a zipper on the backside as well as one on the front that can be unzipped down to the sternum. I prefer it zipped all the way up, it just looks so well put together. It can be hand and machine washed but I will hand wash to prevent shrinkage. I’m very impressed . I think it can be worn winter and spring but you will definitely need a jacket or coat. Hits right at or below the knee. Smells of chemicals so please hand wash before wearing. Will make additional purchases from the maker. I’m comfortable wearing this to church or work.

I waited till the last minute recently to try to dress for a funeral. Must of the warmer dresses I own are left over from the days of teaching Sunday school class in the ‘90’s and none of them fit my aging body any more. SURPRISE. Do I determined to get some new dresses at a reasonable price to have available to just pull out, know they fit, and be ready to go and look nicely pulled together. This was one of those dresses. It is comfortable, warm, and just looks good. Can wear with mitts or heels and feel good about my appearance. Thank you Amazon. Not really much stretch to it and the dress is a nice weight. Feels more expensive.

Very flattering cut, the diagonal stripes in the waist area didn't add as much optical weight cinching as I'd hoped but I still really liked the way I looked and felt. I added a belt for some color and interest. Fabric is on the thinner side but no sheerness issues even with a bright white bra. The dress has two zippers one in front another in back. Single ladies, skip the back zip the front goes down far enough to get into the dress and zipped up without assistance. I also really like that the front zipper allows you to control how much cleavage you want to show. It looks cute all the way up like a nun and alllllllll the way down to hellllllllllloooo nurse. Side note for the bustier ladies, the slit won't be a straight V it will kind of round out a bit like the bottom part of a heart. Great for a date a little much at the office. Decent quality fabric and finishes for the price, doesn't wrinkle good stretch (not great do not size down).

This dress is somehow roomy, comfortable, AND gives a tailored look. I received so many compliments at a work conference. People i don't even know well came up to me specifically to compliment it. I just figured it would blend unnoticed with all of the other blue/grey/black suits but it really did stand out. I'm 5'8" , 148 lbs with a bit of a tummy right now and this dress hid it so well! I got the Large which was great for me, just slightly big in the shoulders. I could see the M fitting as well, though I'm sure it would be less forgiving.

Great fit and quality!

I kind of knew what I was getting into ordering this dress in terms of quality of fabric, etc., and I almost gave up on it. The main problem is that the zippered front just makes it look cheap. The fabric is not high-end to begin with (it's that somewhat shiny, stretchy polyester blend that is used a lot at down-market stores) but the style of the dress is decent and figure-flattering. I had tried it on twice before almost giving up -- the first time I tried with a false collar underneath, which totally would have worked if not for that darn zipper in the front. The eye goes DIRECTLY there and it screams cheap. Then I tried to just wear it zipped up all the way without anything around the neckline, but even if I tried to dress it up with a necklace or two, I still wouldn't be able to hide the zipper. I was *this* close to returning it when I decided to give it one more try with a scarf around my neck. This elevated the dress considerably and I've decided to go ahead and keep it. Part of it is that the dress needs some kind of decoration at the top to balance out how it hugs the body. That's why the false collar looked good in terms of symmetry. But again, it didn't work with the zipper handle hanging in the front so prominently. I'm glad I finally figured out the scarf thing, because I do think the rest of the dress, while not of super high quality, is a decent piece to wear to work. It's comfortable enough and simple enough to wear frequently -- something I look for in a staple piece. I might try and see if I can get someone to sew the front together and remove the front zipper entirely -- then I could see wearing it with a false collar, or a big chunky necklace, which would increase its versatility. For now, scarves will have to do! I would just warn the buyer not to expect too high a quality from this dress. I think it should be $10 cheaper for the quality that it is (it was $38 at the time of purchase) -- but as I said, I'm going to go ahead and keep it because I do like it overall.

I rarely leave a comment, but this dress really surprised me right out of the box. The material is stretchy!! So it fits snug but it’s so comfortable. One thing to note that it is not lined, so if you have issues with how seams feel, then spurge for a lined dress. For the price, the quality is really good. The fabric is substantial and not thin. This is a great work dress at a great price! I’m 5’2” and 140lbs and purchased a large.
