This is an awesome unit. Just a couple of problems. There are some long plastic strips that are supposed to connect the back panel to the side panels. They really don't work very well and they in they keep the top of each panel from being able to fit into the grooves of the top piece of the unit, So I just discarded them because they're not necessary and they kept things from fitting correctly. Also the print was so small on the directions I couldn't read the directions or see the drawings of how things fit together so I had to get somebody to help me read the instructions, so if the instruction leaflet was larger, it would be so much better. The unit is very nice and serves its intended purpose very well which is to store a gemstone collection. I really love it. Money well spent.

For those that don't live near an IKEA or want a sturdier option, this is the glass display case for you. The metal rod supports are really nice and feel more secure than the thin ones on Detolfs in my opinion. Fantastic glass quality for my cabinet, no scratches or damage. - Biggest petpeeve is the lack of labels on the tempered glass pieces. We messed up the assembly because we confused the back panel with the door panel and had to redo it halfway through.

Having some written instructions incorporated into the booklet for assembly would have been a little bit more useful. The Pictographs are a hard to follow. The individual glass pieces should have been labeled as to sides front and back. Later numbering on the pictographs as to which order certain parts needed to be put together should been given sooner in the assembly instructions. The stickers to cover the bolt holes on top of the cabinet is a cheap way of finishing instead of actually having a plastic bolt cap that could be removed if the cabinet needed disassembled for moving. Although it was a two person job, it was assembled in 4 hours. It’s sturdier than other cabinets we have for the same purposes. Now that we know what to look for next time, we can probably do it in shorter time

It looks great and does exactly what I need it to, but putting it together took (at least) 2 people for about a 2 and a half hour adventure. It is solid once fully assembled but prepare for a massive headache if you try and put it together alone.

These glass display cases have been excellent for my office. We’ve been able to put 8 of them around the building to ensure we can display important and information items about the history of our office. we originally wanted locking cabinets but liked these the best. So quick solution to that was to simply turn the around with the door (the opening to the case) against the wall. Problem solved!

HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS!!

Functions really well as a figurine shelf, though you may want help putting it together. Simple to put together, you just need the extra set of hands.

Assembly wasn’t simple. You have to be super careful with the glass. Once it’s together though, very happy. I actually bought Crystal feet for it and added them to the bottom so it’s not sitting on the ground. Would buy again.
