About Reptiles: A Guide for Children (Educational Science Book About Snakes, Lizards, Turtles, & More)

All of her books are must-haves. They are written so they can be entertaining for both young kids, older kids, and adults. There is something to learn in them for everybody.

Bought book for 4 1/2 year old granddaughter. A perfect book for a child of this age to become aware of the wonders of nature in this case the reptile family. Also bought the series book on birds. Very pleased with both books

I love Cathryn Sills science books. They cover the subject thoroughly and with the beautiful illustrations and simple text, the concepts are easily grasped by the younger students. This is a must have book for lower elementary school teachers. This book is perfect for second and third graders.

Beautiful illustrations. The text is very simple so it is appropriate for toddlers and young preschoolers. There is a bit more info on some of the reptiles at the back of the book. It is nice as part of the series when explaining different families of animals to toddlers.

Very well suited for my preschoolers. The series of books make teaching Animal Classification, their characteristics and habitat so much fun for the kids. They are also inspired to read the text because of its simplicity.

Ich liebe die Bücher der Sills wegen ihrer schönen Bilder. Ich besitze die komplette Reihe. Dieses Buch habe ich nachbestellt, weil ich es an meine kleine Reptilien verrückte Nichte verschenken wollte. Dabei stellte sich heraus, das sich mein vor drei Jahren gekauftes Exemplar und dieses deutlich unterscheiden obwohl der Umschlag identisch ist. Die Informationstexte sind anders und ein Bild ist ausgetauscht. Dafür gibt es aber keine Erklärung.
