I bought this bc of the rating, and lysol similar product bc of the brand name. I am writing this after the soft scrub is done, and i just installed the lysol. And i really liked this, and now that the lysol one is not nearly as good, i wanted to write a review.When i opened the package, it smelled like cheap mens cologne to me. I of course had no idea what "sapphire" was going to smell like. **To my great delight, the scent really grew on me as I used it**, almost immediately.They said it would last 4 weeks, but mine went 6 easy and could have gone another week - it is easy to see how it is doing, as the 4 clear balls allow you to see how much cleaner is left. I really changed it at 6 weeks just to try the lysol one, which was a disappointent (along with every single gel insert i have ever tried, all smell good for 1 day then nothing).I just re-ordered and bought 4 - the scent was not strong, did not fill the room, only a whiff when you lifted the bowl. Ideal!Also I am diabetic, which means i "go" a lot, and i am dieting so a mandatory 6 bottles of 16 ox water or 12 glasses a day, so when i say this lasted six weeks, it was a very very frequent usage during that six weeks.this kicks the snot out of the other brands. "Sapphire" will grow on you fast. I miss it - as i geared, this lysol "Atlantic" has no smell whatsoever.

I mean it works. It does not change your water color, but you can tell its working cause it does leave bubbles after every flush. It gets rid of that ugly water ring, and I have not had to scrub my toilet since putting it on. There is a smell when you first put it on, but after about 10 minutes it goes away. So, it does not leave a scent, which is fine cause I dont need my bathroom smelling like lavender.

These work great! They smell clean and fresh. It looks like they will last a good while, we’re past week 1 and there is still a lot left. They are easy to hide and remove. Great value for your money

When guests go into our main bathroom, They often ask what smells so nice in there? The answer is the rim hanger in lavender. Not only does it help keep the toilet clean, it also it helps keep the room fresh smelling. It's so easy to do. All you do is hang it over the rim of the toilet in the direct flow of the water when it is flushed. When it is empty just pick it up and throw it away and then put a new one in. It does not change the color of the water.
