I bought it for recording from the headphone output of a Fender Mustang Micro guitar headphone amplifier. I'm sure this would also work with electric pianos that only have headphone outputs and no line output.

My buddy had one and I knew I had to have one too. Works like a charm.

I had been experiencing a hum on multiple devices ( computers, sound boards, switches etc) in our sound room and nothing else could solve the problem. Tried on of these and WOW. The hum is gone. It took one for each device but well worth the cost. Highly recommended.

Good but I bought 5 and two of them had their little knobs fall right off with a day or too. These are used very lightly too, so I do believe it is the manufacturing at fault. But solid boxes otherwise.

I am the technology specialist for my church and people frequently want to connect their laptop for a slide show and have the sound go out through the PA in the sanctuary. Of course, they have no idea what "line level", "mic level" or why a headphone output doesn't just automatically work for everything. This device slips into my bag and is always ready for such a situation. Plug it into their headphone output and send the output into a Mic input using an XLR cable, adjust volume, Done!

This little inexpensive adapter is a great way to interface the audio from a laptop, iPad, iPod, iPhone, or virtually any audio device with a mini (1/8") stereo headphone out-put to a mixing console XLR input with just a regular XLR (3-pin) microphone cable. Some laptops or other devices often tend to cause undesirable noises (RF hum) or too high of an input level when plugged directly into a mixing console. The Rapco Horizon LTIGLBLOX makes this connection between devices and the mixing console very clean and well adapted for use by the mixer. Should ground hum still exist between the interfaced device and the mixer, the LTIGLBLOX can eliminate it by use of the ground lift toggle switch. Another great feature besides the ground lift is the user controlled input signal attenuator that allows quick and easy up and down volume control of the source material being sent to the mixer console channel. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for the most efficient, dependable, and controllable way to interface device audio to a mixing console.

The mushy audio sound is gone, the hum is gone. Stereo balanced output from my projector is perfectly converted to mono balanced, with this device. I put the mono balanced into a sound board mic input, and have perfect audio control and sound. I love it.
