Performance Duffel Bag, Powerberry

This bag is very large. Just know that when you buy it. If you are petite like me, you may not be interested in buying it if you are going to be carrying it around all the time. You may go for one of their smaller bags. Where this bag excels is as a weekender bag, a gym bag if you plan to leave it mostly in your car. They thought about everything in designing this bag. There are pockets for shoes that are just the right size for shoes. The water bottle pockets fit a aquafina bottle, but can stretch to fit a gatorade. The exterior pockets protect your electronics from anything inside that may be wet. The laptop pocket fits a macbook pro perfectly. My iphone 6plus fits inside the phone pocket. There are pockets for haircare items, swim goggles, flip flops, clothing, sunscreen, etc. It's so versatile. If you are looking for a weekender bag, look no further. Your gym bag can double as a wonderful carry on bag. The separate shoe pockets allow you to separate your shoes from the rest of your luggage. The pockets inside work great for toiletries and socks/underwear. You can put your laptop and your charging cords into the padded front pockets so you don't need to bring a backpack. I even used this bag as a triathlon transition bag for my first ironman. The material holds up and is durable.

After three years I was ready to pay any amount for a perfect workout bag. I love my Apera duffel: all the room I need, thoughtful organization, 2(!) water bottle sleeves, perfect venting, and the berry color brightens my spirits. I have only one problem: the strap cannot be shortened enough. As tight as it will go, cross-body, it still bangs against my hip and i am a strong, tall (5'8") woman. But I'm willing to deal with this. I love my bag and look forward to many years with it.Update: I am back to update my review. The length of the straps is seriously irritating. I am going to have to have a professional seamstress fix the length. The water bottle pockets are hard to get a 32oz nalgene into. Not undoable, but not an easy fit. That is all the negative I have to say. Otherwise, I love love love my bag in every way. The reason I am back is because I need a new climbing equipment bag and I'm most likely going to get another Apera. The question is only, which one?

I am in love with this bag. I mostly use it for running to the gym and then to my studies, which involves a change of clothes, towel, toiletries, a beefy pair of shoes, a laptop, two hardcover textbooks, my lunch and a water bottle. It doesn't even look like all that stuff is in there, and never appears overstuffed. I also adore it for weekend-to-week-long travel, and can cram it into a plane's overhead bin between other people's rollerbags! The pink and blue color combo is perfect for me, the vents and mesh placements are great, I can set it down on snow or wet concrete without worry of my things getting wet, and so on. So so so good.My warnings, tho few, have become annoyances while using this bag and I hope they fix it with any new version of the bag:- I found the shoulder strap too long, even at its shortest setting. At 5'4" tall, when this thing is loaded with weight, the bag kept thumping me between my butt and upper thigh, nearly sweeping my leg out as I walk. I've hacked the strap to be shorter on my own, but I would have liked the padded part to be movable so that you have more real estate to play with the strap length.- The zipper pulls are cords glued into this little plastic tab, which work and feel great. BUT. When the plastic piece falls off (and it does), the pull cord vanishes and renders the zipper difficult to maneuver until one can find a old keyring or something to fix it.- And as my own annoyance: if you get dirt in the shoe compartments, which are very deep, it's difficult to shake it back out.

Excellent quality, well designed, comfortable to carry, lovely color. I bought this bag mainly to use as a airline carry-on; it can hold all my electronics, shoes, some clothes, and my knitting, and still fit under the seat in front of me. When not traveling, it becomes my gym bag; a better bag than I have owned in the past. I bought a couple of their organizer bags as well, to keep things sorted and clean.Highly recommended for both uses!

This bag is awesome! Good quality and heavy heavy duty. I only gave it 4 stars due to the fact that the laptop sleeve isn't as padded as I expected it to be. Other than that I love this bag!!! I teach cycling, boot camp, and hip-hop dance fitness classes at numerous locations, so I am always lugging around a few changes of clothes, cycling shoes, dance shoes, toiletries etc. This bag fits everything nicely with room to spare. I especially love the 2 water bottle holders and the exterior zip pocket for keys/phone/chapstick/etc so I don't have to go digging around a huge bag for them. I would definetly buy this bag again, and I probably will buy other models as well.

This bag is BIG! Sometimes it's hard to figure out online how a product will look in person, even when measurements are provided, you just never know. I can't knock it down because of its size though. I bought this for those days when I'm heading to work then the gym and I need to fit everything in one bag and not forget anything for my long day, including lunch, snacks, and extra clothes. It looks like this bag will do the job! Its size does seem a little overwhelming but there are pockets for everything, even an iPad, so I have big hopes for this bag. It might be perfect as a carry on bag for my next flight as well.

LOVE this bag! Sneakers fit in side compartment (Women’s 8); flip flops in the opposite side compartment (for shower); small outside zipper pocket holds my lock for the locker; Main compartment - change of clothes for office, bath sheet and hair towel, make-up bag, shower bag (shampoo + conditioner, hair gel, razor, face wash etc.). All fits! Water bottle in outside pocket. Several pockets on the inside. I did a lot of research on line before I settled on this bag and very happy that I purchased it!
