Perfect bag for sweaty gym clothes
Perfect bag for sweaty gym clothes! It fits a full days workout gear (shorts, shirt, underwear and socks) easily and after a few days you can easily chuck it in the washer. This was exactly what I was looking for. Now I can throw away those plastic bags I was trying to reuse..

Zipper is not leakproof: so not really for carrying wet items!
Courtesy of the Amazon Vine program, I have received a “Apera Fit Pocket Zippered Organization Bag, 8.5" H, Electric Lime” for review. This fit pocket is essentially a ripstop nylon pouch measuring about 14 inch in length and 10 inch in height, with a bottom that is expandable to an inch. The pouch has a short 2 inch grip handle on the side. The selling point of this fit pocket is that its nylon has been treated with an “Actifresh” anti-microbal process by a company called “sanitized” (yes, this is their company and domain name). I am not a chemist, but based on my reading of this Actifresh technology, it is basically an infused chemical that will inhibit bacteria growth on the nylon fabric. This will in turn control odor from developing. In its sales literature, Apera suggests that we use this fit pocket to store wet items or flip flops, presumably also carrying it inside another bag such as my backpack so that it won’t soil the clean items in the bag. In fact, the packaging suggests four types of items to carry: wet items, flip flops, cables, toiletries.Alas, in practice this fit pocket has a critical failure: its zipper is NOT leakproof. So if you are using it to store wet items, like what I did with a wet pair of flip flops this afternoon, you will not be exactly happy because water will come out from the zipper. Fortunately I knew this going to the gym for the test, and so nothing is ruined. I would guess that this fit pocket is really better for a slightly wet towel (“slightly” in the sense that no water will come out from squeezing). Put it this way: I will not be using this for carrying wet item in my gym bag.Overall, this is a nice nylon pouch and the zipper, while not leakproof, looks durable. I also like the color. However, since it fails at the number one function that it advertises, I have to take a star off. Sorry, Apera!

Gets the Job Done
This is a bit smaller than I expected but it works fine for my purposes.I work out at a gym at my office and I carry my fitness gear in a large tote bag with my lunch, reading material for the train ride and whatever other sundry items I need to schlep into the office on any particular day. Not a problem in the morning, but after a three-mile run, my clothes are usually soaked through. Most times, I just toss them into a plastic grocery bag (inside the carry-all). Kind of trashy, I know. So it's going to be a nice change to have something attractive and airtight to keep them in so there's no worry about stale odors.Despite it's diminutive size, it has an expandable bottom that allows it to fit my jog bra, capris, socks and a tee-shirt comfortably enough. So now, when I open my bag on the train ride home to pull out my book, there's no unsightly ball of clothes or unpleasant smells leaking out. This is a pretty basic item, but very useful.

Solidly made - useful size - can't miss it colors - anti-microbial as a bonus - a winner
The old joke sign from the movie Taxi Driver. " I should get one of those signs that says "One of these days I'm gonna get organezized". " was designed for me. I have too much stuff and not enough ways get 'organezized'. I saw this small pouch on vine and thought I could use it to hold my new two-way radios. The radios get held in your hands, placed near your mouth and used near the ear so having them together in anti-microbial bag seemed like a smart thing to try. That's why I decided to order it and offer my thoughts in a review. The pouch is a really bright color. I guess that's both good and bad. The good - it will be easy to see and the bad - it will show dirt. Meh...The seams are sewn well, the material it's made from is good quality and the zipper operates smoothly. In a reasonably-priced item like this, that's a plus. The size is big enough for my purpose - it holds the two-way radios with room for the charger - just what I wanted.Another use I thought it would be perfect for is carrying / storing the mess of iPad / iPod / Smartphone cables that inhabit our kitchen junk drawer. No need for an anti-microbial coating for them but the bag would do that job as well. I may have to get another one...As for you gym rats (sadly, not me any more)? This is the best use of this small sack. It will hold your damp undies and socks after exercise without a concern that wetness or odor will escape. Cool! Also, it will prevent the used laundry from touching the clean (I hope) insides of your gym bag. When I travel, I use a plastic grocery bag (I am the king of chic) to hold soiled clothing - t-shirts, briefs and socks - so the inside of my suitcase stays clean. This small sack may not be big enough for an extended trip but for the daily back and forth from home/office to the gym, it looks perfect for the task I use my plastic bag to perform. Throw in that my plastic bag has no chemical treatment to fight the growth of germs and you may find this a useful addition to you gym kit.Solidly made - useful size - can't miss it colors - anti-microbial as a bonus - a winner
