Anyone use this with otdefense stippling tips? are they compatible?

I ordered this wood burner kit along with the OTDefense basket weave tip. The OTDefense tip does fit with no issues.

My tool is not heating even after 20 minutes. I believe it’s supposed to start hearing when you plug it in. Is there anything I am doing wrong?

If you have it plugged in after 20 minutes and it’s not heating, then it’s defective so send it back

would the hot knife tip cut/score upholestry foam ?

Never tried it myself, but I think it would, if the foam isn’t flammable. But it seems to me it would be a lot easier to use a box cutter on the foam…

Does this work with ET-Series tips?

Good beginner set

I bought this set primarily for the flat circle burner. It worked exactly as I needed. I used the wood burner for several hours straight and did not experience any issues.
