J’ai commandé le shampooing ainsi que l’après Shampooing suite à la tête de mèches blondes que j’ai fait. Il fonctionne très bien. Il laisse une belle texture douce aux cheveux. Il a une bonne odeur (pas du tout chimique). Cependant, si il est utilisé à tous les shampooings il peut rendre les cheveux secs à long terme. Une fois par semaine pour des mèches légères c’est suffisant. Il peut aussi teinter légèrement le fond de tête si il est appliqué directement dessus et si on le laisse en place pendant 5 min comme conseillé. Bref c’est un excellent produit, je l’adore!

I LOVE this Redken Blondage Purple Shampoo. For reference, I have fine, mostly straight hair that gets oily pretty quickly, so I’ve found that my application method makes a big difference. One thing I always recommend is shampooing your hair with your regular shampoo first. Starting with clean hair helps this shampoo lather better and allows the product to work more effectively. After shampooing normally, I apply the Redken Blondage Purple Shampoo and let it sit for a few minutes. I also want to mention that purple shampoo can be drying, especially if you use it too often. Since its main purpose is to deposit purple pigment and neutralize unwanted yellow/orange tones rather than cleanse and nourish your hair, I personally use it as an addition to my normal hair-care routine, not as a replacement for my regular shampoo and conditioner. After letting it sit, I usually rinse it out partially, then condition my hair while there’s still a little of the purple shampoo left in my hair so the pigment can really do its job. I make sure to follow up with my normal conditioning routine to keep my hair feeling soft and moisturized. I had highlights done at a salon and unfortunately left with very yellow/orange hair. I was so disappointed that I ended up buying my own toner and this shampoo to help fix it. This shampoo has honestly been a lifesaver! It helped tone down the unwanted yellow and orange and has allowed me to maintain a beautiful, ashy blonde with my highlights for months. I only use it once a week at most, and sometimes I’ll go every other week. The pigmentation is so much better than other purple shampoos I’ve tried, and I also think it smells better than most of them. It really does what it’s supposed to do! The only con for me is that the bottle is on the smaller side, and it’s a little more expensive than I’d like. However, the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me. Overall, I absolutely recommend Redken Blondage Purple Shampoo and will continue to recommend it to others. It has become a staple in my hair-care routine, and I’ll definitely be keeping it on hand for myself!
