Our Living room, although glass on two sides and mostly glass on 3rd, tends to be dark because we're in heavily forested surroundings . Plugging in "Can" lights mounted high on walls and pointed to cathedral ceiling to these timers makes the lights come on when it's dark - not just based on the time of day. So even on weather-caused dark days, the room gets some lighting. Then, after preset time, the lights go off. Works fine!

Not a top end unit but it works. Last one I had lasted for 1 1/2 years.

I needed a timer that was low maintenance and water proof. A kind of "set it and forget it" thing. This is THAT product. I did a ton of research before I made the purchase and I am happy to say this product is simply excellent. Got through the holiday season without any issues. There was rain and snow. It definitely took a weather beating. I Highly recommend it.

I have an identical one of these, down to the text on the dial, but with a Phillips branding, I got it from Target, and it cost me twice as much as this one. This does the exact same thing, and now I have a dawn/dusk sensor for my Christmas lights. No complaints.

Bought this for my Christmas lights this year and it works just like its supposed to. Comes on as the sun is starting to go down and turns off after 6 hours (I set it for 6)

What is the life span on this timer. I used it for outdoor lights . I no longer works as of 2/25/2021.Purchased 2/2020. What is the warranty? If any? Thanks.

This inexpensive timer works great outside for holiday lights, easy to use. It was not damaged by rain or snow.
