I'm actually using these GREAT lights to make (not so original, I know) wine bottle gifts for a few friends this year. I'm not the most creative person on the planet, so I never made a true effort to try making these bright little bottles. Great things happen so unexpectedly and that's just what happened. I stumbled across them accidentally, and beyond thrilled at how sparkly and gorgeous they're turning out! I wrapped one of the bottles in sparkly tissue paper while it was lit from inside. I Do believe I'll turn them on and quickly wrap with the tissue paper just before delivery. Come to think of it, if only I could buy these by the 100's... I'm picturing the entire driveway and sidewalks to my front door on Christmas eve. Hmmm.... I NEED TO ADD TO REVIEW (December 6, 2018) In my review above, I quickly wrote it after receiving the lights. I put batteries in to test the lights, and started to order a few more. Time got away from me. Today, I replaced all the batteries and started to make some gifts with them. I had them turned on, (love the little remotes) they were bright, then all at once after getting the holiday bottles just right, one strand dimmed. It seemed to start going through a cycle of all of the options available with the remotes, then...it just stopped lighting. This was a two jar lighted gift with the lights between jars. I took the jar apart, much easier to assemble, changed batteries .... Nothing. I've been searching how to contact the company since its too late to return or exchange. I just want to alert you, in case you're counting on making gifts with the lights. They are certainly beautiful, handy little lights, but ... I'm not sure now about using the 2nd strand that came with the set.

These are the best Fairy Lights I've had or seen. I opted for the warm white and the brightness is perfect. They can be used anywhere and the batteries last a long time. 60 lights on 20 feet is much better than most of the other lights out there and for the price, you can't beat it! The remote is a major bonus but I would have bought them even w/o the remote. Great quality

Overall, a pretty decent product at this cost point. Honestly, I didn't really expect them to be as satisfactory as they ultimately turned out to be. I bought 2 bundles (4 remote controlled strands) for accenting display areas in my classroom. The remote is a big plus as I have two of the strands placed in an area out of my reach (even on a step stool). Plus, I really enjoy the numbered options on the remote so that I don't have to click through until I find the setting that I want. Personally, setting 4 and setting 8 are my "go tos." The only negative was that one strands glitched out last week. (Hence the deduction of one star.)

I am impressed! It hasn't been long since I started using these little lights, but so far they've performed really well in the conditions I've used them! I made a wreath for the front of my truck and decided to include lights this year. The first day I had them mounted on my truck it was single digit temps (F) and they worked as well as they did inside the house. It's been 2 days and they turn on and off appropriately, no troubles. So overall the unit has been in temps from about -10 to 25 degrees F, operated from 5 to 25 with no troubles. They haven't been snowed or rained on, so I can't attest to the water resistance yet. The wires are very dainty. I put them on my wreaths and haven't moved them, but I would suggest not doing TOO much manipulating or bending, like really wrapping them around things and bending the wire frequently. They haven't broken but just feel like they could if they were bent back and forth a few times in the same spot. One minor drawback is just with the remote. The two strands both respond to both remotes (this could be good or bad, depending what you use them for). Also the remote doesn't have much range. I've got my wreath mounted above my bumper with the battery pack tucked just behind it sitting on the bumper, and I've found I have to have the remote within about a foot of the battery pack for the lights to respond. I'd hoped to be able to turn them on and off from inside the truck, even if I had to mount the battery pack in line of sight just on top of the hood, but that just didn't work out. Still, using the remove is better than having to turn them on by hand in this cold!

These are exactly what I was looking for! Before I bought them I was a little skeptical that the lights weren't going to be big enough or bright enough but the actually are perfect! We use these in our dorm room when we don't want to turn the main light on and have a nicer atmosphere and they are great! The remote is very easy to use and so far I haven't had any problems with it at all. There are a bunch of light features like flashing ones and fading ones and stuff but we never use those, but they're there if needed. I also really like the brightness of these lights. You can make them dim or bright, we usually keep them dim since they can get really bright if that's what you're looking for. Overall, these lights are perfect for our room and just what I was looking for! I compared a bunch of different lights before I bought these to find ones that were good quality and affordable and these are great!

Pros: I like the length of each strand. To be clear, there are 2 20ft strands. They easily covered the area I used them in, with plenty of winding and random placement That i desired. I also like the wire that the lights are on. It allowed me to position them by pinching the wire tight in some spots and was also thin enough to allow me to anchor it under picture frame corners without making the frame unsteady. I also like the remote control which means I don’t have to do a balancing act on my couch and coffee table to turn them on. Cons: these things have a mind of their own! They turn on by themselves all the time. They also change modes as they see fit as well. One minute they’re off, the next, I have a rave scene fit to induce a seizure. Seriously, I cannot figure it out. I use the remote to put it back on the steady light mode, and a little while later, it changes back to flashing, chasing, dimming, whatever whim has taken over. Also, sometimes one remote will control both at once, and other times it won’t. Placement of the battery box also seems to be key to quick response with the remote. All in all, I do like them. The fact that they turn themselves on is, for now, amusing. We’re chalking it up to ghosts! It’s easily remedied and if our ghosts are partial to decorative lighting, it could definitely be worse. UPDATE: any and all remotes, and I mean those intended for the tv, will control these lights. We are constantly turning the lights on, off, changing made any time we turn on the tv or change the volume on the tv. It’s a pain in the behind to be honest.

I absolutley love these lights ! They work great and I received them fast. I was a little nervous after reading a review that said the lights came all tangled and it took a the buyer 2 hours to untangle and they were hard to work with. I am very happy to say that they came very neatly packed and out of all 8 sets I received not one of them were tangled or difficult to work with. As a matter of fact they were just the opposite !!!! I have even completly removed them and arranged them on another decorative craft I was working on and never had any difficulties nor did they ever get tangled at all on me. I love how bright they are and how long the batteries are lasting ! Since I have had them I have used them for at least 6 hours and they are just as bright as the first time I turned them on and showing no signs of needing to change the batteries at all. They have a great variety of patterns and love the fact that I can dim them with all of the settings and not just the steady pattern. Love love love these lights and would highly recommend them to anyone !! I am looking forward to buying more real soon !! Thanks for such a great, durable, and low priced product!! Rosanne Piaquadio
