Very imprecise. Go electronic instead.
Very imprecise. Colors change and fade, and even if you manage to do it right, you end up with a wide scale between two colors and you have to estimate with a LOT of error margin.Buy an electronic tool instead, don’t waste your money on this.

Turns everything the same colour
Was hoping for it to work but it turned my tap water, the blu ionic filter water and my building pool water all the same colour of light brown. Would have excused the blu ionic filter and tap water being same but the pool water was also the same light brown. So far not impressed with this and initial impression is that its a waste of money for me but i'll see if i can test it on some distilled water later, not that it will be of any help to me because i wanted to test if there is any difference in colour between blu ionic shower filter and tap water.

I bought these Varify water hardness test strips to check if my home water softener is working right. My friend recommended them to me. They are really easy to use. Just dip one in the water for a few seconds, wait 30 seconds, and compare the color to the chart. The colors are clear enough to read, and I got consistent results when I tested a few times which matches what I expected. Good value with 150 strips in the bottle. It has 50 in the main container and then 2x full refill pouches with 100 more.

I am very satisfied with this Varify water hardness test kit. It is super easy to use: just immerse the strip for a few seconds and in a short time you have clear and easy-to-interpret results. I used it to check the water in my house and also in the pool, and in both cases it worked perfectly. I like that it measures several elements such as calcium and magnesium, it brings enough strips, so it lasts a long time. It is a very useful tool if you want to take care of your appliances, your skin or make sure that your water is in good condition. I definitely recommend it, excellent value for money
