Steak seasoning for true steak lovers!
Larry's steak seasoning is the absolute best steak seasoning I have ever used. I am an accomplished cook and have tried nearly every commercial steak seasoning. One of the key ingredients is fennel, which gives the steaks a bright taste that blends well with the garlic, salt, pepper and other spices. Make sure your steaks are patted down dry prior to seasoning, rub in the mix and let sit for at least a few minutes prior to cooking. If possible season your steaks the day before for maximum penetration. Like all spices, you will burn them if searing at too high a heat. I've adopted the restaurant style of cooking steaks in a carbon steel pan with olive oil. Turn steaks every two minutes and optionally finish with a pat of butter before removing from pan. Let steak rest for a few minutes before serving. Only a barbarian will cook a good steak more than medium rare.

Like it better that way
We bought it somewhere before, only it was in a grinder. Like it better that way.still use it on almost any meat and poultry.

God Awful
My buddy invited me for steak with the family. He showed me this product and said it was really inexpensive (cheap) and he wanted to try it out. I *think* he said it was $1.59. I opened it up to give it the old smell test. Well, I can say it didn't stink and make me vomit, but it didn't smell that great. I then poured some of it in my hand. It didn't kick in right away, but a few hours later I remember what it reminded me of. My sister has a parakeet and what I was holding in my hand looked like the leftovers after it has feed on bunch of bird food/seeds. Nearly 24 hours later, I wished I'd have thrown it away. Skip to the final product....disgusting. Little or no taste, but after every 4-5 bites, there was a flavor that was really bad. A few minutes later, my buddy's wife said it was awful and it tasted a bit like......licorice!. As soon as she said it I recognized the taste. I googled what spice tastes like licorice and it came back tarragon. I left about half the steak on the plate and it was fed to the dog. I need to give them a call and see if the dog is ok. It was really nasty. Let me put it like this, about 2 years ago this same guy used too much fluid on the charcoles and the steaks tasted like it....and I would eat an entire cow like this in stead of this garbage.
