The rug looks very nice BUT we’ve had nothing but problems since we put it down. First, the smell wasn’t great even after we laid it on a large rack outside to air it out. As well, it is NOT plush. It’s very thin even though the threads are long. You definitely need a nice pad for this but we had no issue with that. We vacuumed it upon opening it and again upon laying it down after airing it out. Didn’t see many loose threads and we were pleased it didn’t shed the way our wool rug does. But, I have a 4 year old, a 1 year old and a cat and between the kids, the cat and my husband and I walking on it the threads are pulling out like crazy. I pickup at least a handful a day. It’s not in a high traffic room and we’ve still had so many FULL threads come out. This thing will be bald in no time and on top of it all I worry about my infant choking if she gets one of these long thick threads in her mouth so while I have to be constantly vigilant anyways with two littles I have to be extra vigilant now about checking to make sure no loose threads are tracked around the house. Overall this was not worth the money we paid and we are disappointed in this purchase. We’ve had other rugs from this same company that were much better quality.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I LOVEEEEE THIS RUG! It’s not as thick and plush as I was hoping but I love the color and material! I also really like that it’s not that clumpy shag material processing and delivery was also quicker than expected.

The carpets look very nice and they are really soft. My only dislike is they are thinly woven. You can see the carpet base especially on the sides and corners

I didn’t have any problems with this rug, except for the smell. It didn’t work where I originally planned to put it, so I put it in my daughter’s room. After 3 nights of entering her room and smelling chemicals, I just couldn’t do it anymore. There is no way that those chemicals are safe and do not cause harm to your lungs. This was after it had already been downstairs for a couple of weeks. I could smell it but always had windows open. In her room, it was really strong! Other than that, yeah it isn’t thick but it is soft and has a nice look to it. I will also say it was too white for what I wanted.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The look is beautiful but I had to vacuum it just to raise the nap for it to look like a shag rug should. It definitely needs a thick rug pad underneath!

This rug looked thick in online photos, but it's actually really thin. I purchased a thick rug pad to go under it which helps, but it's still a disappointing purchase. I have another shag rug made by Safavieh that has a thick, stiff backing that makes the rug feel thick and substantial. This rug's backing is thin and flimsy. It also sheds. I am constantly finding pieces of thread on the floor around it.

A beautiful color that blends well with neutrals, taupes, and grays, and is super soft. The 4 stars is because the shag material (loops) and piling is very thin so I can see it won't stay fluffy long term or last through track areas. This is a great rug for a short period. The one it replaced lasted 11 years; this one certainly would not.

Had to return this for another size but it is absolutely beautiful. The price and quality is just perfect. I can't believe these aren't more expensive. Very soft, very easy on the eyes, very rich looking, barely needs a rug pad, and very neutral so it complements the room. Recommend!
