Works well no issues app is clean and simple. Fingerprint reader has not had any issues. Lock is not large but works for what I need

So, I have had this lock for a week, and have been unsuccessfully trying to figure out how to add fingerprints with the app. I already have another eseesmart lock, and setting that one up with the app was a breeze. However, in the Smart Padlock with the long shackles, all I ever get when pressing add in the app is the screenshot I included. So it asks me to go back and reset the lock. Currently, the lock sometimes opens, when I let the left thumb rest on the reader, first it turns blue, then solid green and opens. This doesn't happen with any other finger. I guess, handling it initially, I inadvertently programmed it to accept my left thumb. However, resetting it according to section C of the manual, never works. I would let my thumb rest, if it does not open, it sometimes turns red, then I lift my finger and put it back on, but we get never to a situation where it turns green (and blinks rapidly as I could see from another part of the manual, as a confirmation of reset), only sometimes, if the LED turned blue first, after lifting the finger and pressing again, it would turn green and open. That's as far as it gets in terms of workflow following the manual. Or maybe it has picked up the left thumb as my admin print, like it is on the other lock? But I am fishing here, really as it never successfully connected to the app, so how would it "know" about that finger. It would be good if Eseesmart had some customer service that could be contacted....

Have it to my husband at Christmas. Still working well!I love the concept. Just make sure to charge it!!!We tested it on our finger prints and on fingerprints not registered with it and it only opened when the programmed fingerprints were used !

I used this for my locker at work... I love how convenient it is ... Everyone else twisting and turning their combination locks for 3 minutes ... Me, i place my thumb on the lock and i am inside the space 1 second. Its perfect tech for my needs. I have not had to charge it since i bought it the battery still green in the app. All Good

The lock worked fine for the first few months but all of a sudden, it stopped opening when it was attached to my gym locker. It had to be cut off and thrown away.

We leave it on our fence year round. Battery lasts a couple months between charging. It does not work well in the rain, but other than that it's great.

This thing was so much worse than the cheaper fingerprint locks I've had. It was slower to recognize fingerprints, miss-scanned more often, and eventually got stuck in the locked position on a locker I was using. Thankfully, none of my stuff was in there; but it would've been mighty inconvenient if there were. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because a lock that gets stuck locked is better than a lock that gives up and opens. Wouldn't recommend this product, I'd buy the square-shaped fingerprint locks instead. I bought those over 5 years ago and they still work.
