Hello, World! Garden Time: A Book of Plants and Gardening for Kids Board book – January 4, 2022

The illustrations are very fun and vibrant- there’s lots to look at. It’s very educational about what gardens are, what seeds need to grow, the parts of plants, pollination, etc. It introduces more complex concepts in really simple terms so that I can connect my toddler to the flowers we planted while we read. There are larger text sections that I read to her, but there is finer print text on almost every page with more in depth facts that would be really great to be read to an older kiddo. I see us reading this book for many years!

I’m growing a vegetable garden this year with my one year old and got this book as a way to teach her about what we’re doing. She loves the pictures and is always bringing it to me to read for her.

I got this for mt daughters 1st birthday , and this book is better than I thought , the size was perfect and the quality is top notch!

The media could not be loaded. Nice board book about gardening. I’d you’re thinking of growing a home garden, community garden or just learning about gardening with littles, this is a great book to introduce. Colorful illustrations and simple text. Highly recommend for kids 4+.

We are obsessed with the Jill McDonald books. My 2-year-old daughter chooses this one, in particular, most nights. The artwork is gorgeous and I love that there are messages written in larger fonts to get a basic message across, but if you feel like digging a little bit deeper for your older child, you can also read additional information written in smaller font. Depending on how tired I am at bedtime, I tend to read only the basic message written in large front LOL.

A great book to look at with grandkids in the spring
