I ordered this unit for a cj-5 with dana 30 front axle, site says it will fit. it does not fit! can i get contact information for my mechanic please?

You probably have a different axle , dana 44 maybe

I'm planing to install it on my jku 2016 sahara (front dana 30) in replacement of stock open diff. what bearings/shims kit should i use ? thx!

Not the answer your wanting, but in my case they sent the wrong differential but correct box. Everything was back ordered so when I installed diff it was after the 30 days so no return possible, so check.
