I have used this in the past so I knew what I was getting; relief! It comes with a little box of cotton balls. They're so tiny and adorable but exactly the right size for placement. Also tweezers that do the job.It tastes very strong, and is a bit "spicy" but gives relief almost immediately. Got a toothache? You need this. Had oral surgery? You need this. I've used this for toothaches since I was 16. I'm 63 now and still using it when needed. I keep a bottle in my medicine chest at ALL times (and one in my doomsday bag). The clove oil works like a charm, numbing the area, and helping reduce any inflammation. Having had oral surgery myself a week ago, I needed this tincture as my wound got infected. I doused the area with this every few hours until I could get back to the surgeon and get antibiotics. If not for this I couldn't have stood the pain and pressure that was happening in my gum.The oil itself is clove. So,If you can't stand the smell or taste of cloves you're going to hate this. It does tend to have a burning sensation when you apply it, but that goes away in a few minutes. If you're chicken you'll hate this. It also makes you salivate so be prepared to spit that out. Salivating lasts seconds. Just stick with it. Grin and bear it. This will help. It's NOT a cure all and won't make a bad tooth better, but it is relief through numbing the area, until you can see a dentist.It comes with tiny cotton balls and tweezers. The tweezers are useless in my opinion (the ones in my new pack were all bent out of shape). Personally I don't use the cotton balls, I dip a q-tip in the bottle and then swipe the gum with the q-tip. Much easier and faster than faffing about with the tiny swabs and tweezers. I guess if you had to fill a cavity hole the cotton balls would be useful.Try it. Keep it on hand. It's relief in a tiny bottle.

This product is a must have in every first aid kit. Works beyond my expectations and provides relief from pain that is otherwise throbbing. I highly recommend

Clove oil really numbs. Great product until you can get to a dentist.

This medication is the greatest medicine there is to take away tooth pain temporarily. Don’t taste too good, but it gets the job done.

I see lots of complaints: "This stuff tastes AWFUL!", "This stuff burns your mouth!", "This stuff smells strong!", blah blah blah blah. I bought this to stop a toothache. A SEVERE one. I don't think half these people know what a SEVERE toothache feels like. Yes, it has a VERY strong clove scent and taste. Yes, it may burn your mouth some. Don't swallow it (you don't die or get sick), spit it out, or it may burn your throat some too. But, if you are worried more about what tastes great instead of stopping severe tooth pain, buy some stuff that tastes good, like those gel tooth pain products that have benzocaine as the main ingredient (this stuff is 85% eugynol) which do NOTHING. Or get some chewing gum or a breathmint. I'll stick with what works for TOOTH PAIN.

This product works wonders. It's instant relief.Try to not use too much, and don't let it pool in your mouth. It can cause blisters. Dont forget to actually go to your dentist.

This stuff is STRONG. It kind of reminds me of tea-tree oil in a way, just that astringent, natural, strong tasting oil. It helped my S/O out a lot, as she was in quite a bit of pain and I was able to get these overnighted at no additional cost to me. A little tiny amount goes a super long way.
