I’ve been using this brand of peelers for years. My old one finally bit the dust after six or eight years and countless uses. This peeler is just as great, it's comfortable to hold, peels quickly and easily, and works on all kinds of fruits and veggies. Makes prep work easy.

I've been a fan of oxo products for awhile. I had this same peeler for many years. It was time to put it to rest and order a new one. I researched other brands but always came back to this peeler. It is very sharp and peels well. I like the fact it has a cover for the blade and grips on each side. Great peeler.

I purchased this OXO Good Grips Y Peeler because I thought I was going to get the really nice carrot ribbons. I saw a recipe on TikTok that I wanted to make and she had some really pretty carrot ribbons. Anyhow, this is just a regular peeler. I saw the images of the cucumber that made it look like it would make pretty ribbons but it just makes thin peelings. Quality seems great. It seems durable and like it would last long. It’s light weight and easier to hold than the ones that are sideways like the old school ones. I try to be extra careful since many reviews had cut fingers. Anyway, it works great as a simple peeler, but not what I was looking for. I’ll keep it anyway.

Really good blades are sharp . Good grip

Bought this for my elderly mum who has some issues using one of her hands after a stroke. With this she now has no problems what so ever peeling potatoes, carrots etc. as normal. The rubberized finish also gives a good grip when it's wet.
