The original blade is not as good as the brand name blades, but with a simple mod following the guidance of numerous YouTubers, I installed an Andis GTX deep tooth blade and zero gapped it and they hit like pro trimmers. The battery lasts what seems like forever. Nice in the hand. I feel like the motor on this one is premium and way stronger than the motors on other Kemei models, which have consistently been weaker (though less loud) than their name brand counterparts/look alikes.

Not sharp at all

Can’t beat the price! Wife just used it for the first time and got a pretty good and quick hair cut for me. It’s way faster than the old Panasonic trimmer. Old one has a barrel guard design that traps hair all the time so it requires multiple time so cleaning during the cut. This one comes with multiple heights and even though they fee cheap and flimsy, they clip in well and tight, no trapping hairs anymore!Entire body is made out of plastic and noisy levels is acceptable. The reason I give a 5 star is the cost. I would give 6 or 7 stars if there is that option. Best bang for the buck! My Panasonic one needs a battery replacement and battery along if I buy online cost $30+. So how can I not be happy with this purchase! With this crazy staying home and working from home continue to be the near term fact, every family should get one of this for the handsome husbands, short hair pretty wives, boys, and young men!!!

It is not zero gapped , but I found a guy on YouTube and he shows you how . A brand name blade would also help, but with that cost added of 20 dollars , It looses its value as a trimmer . I’m happy with it though .
