I’m a home DIY and my dishwasher door latch broke. I googled how to replace it and it seemed to be a relatively easy procedure. This part was not an “exact” replacement but the Amazon info said it would work. Surprisingly, after I got the part, it took me about 20 minutes (thanks to a you tube video) to do the complete repair. And the part fit perfectly, but more important, my dishwasher was fixed. It has been in place about a month now and all is fine. For those with a little bit of DIY knowledge you can save $100 or more. Great price, fast delivery and it works perfectly. Highly recommend.

The latch on our Samsung dishwasher started acting up. I went on line and watched a couple of repair videos. Seemed simple enough, so I ordered the part. A $20 part and ten minutes of my time, sure beats getting a technician out or replacing the whole dishwasher. The OEM one lasted 9 years, so I am hoping this one lasts that long. It was an easy swap out and it is working like new.

Had a friend who had an issue with her dishwasher. I watched a YouTube video on it. I got the model number of her dishwasher ordered this part and was shocked at how easy it was to remove the inside cover remove the old part and replace it with this one and then have it work flawlessly. I’m no handy man just a homeowner and this “job” was completed in less than five minutes in total. Worked perfectly!

A perfect fit for my Samsung dishwasher. Be sure to check whether your model is compatible with this latch/switch. Replacement videos are all over Youtube, and all you need is a torx bit screwdriver. So far so good. The latches on these dishwashers appear to be a part that fails more frequently, so for the price I also bought a backup. Have had this model for 5 years and worked perfectly until one day the door wouldn't latch. This part fixed the problem and it a DIY. Took less than 10 min. from start to finish.

Great alternative to spending hundred paying a technician! All you need is a philips head screwdriver and 10 minutes! I'd say the skill level needed is a 2/10. 4/5 Because it does not "auto open" when the wash cycle finishes.

Looks a bit different. I was worried,but part worked perfectly.

Latch required no adjustments to fit and was easy to install. The inside panel, however, required complete removal unlike that shown on YouTube videos…though your mileage may vary. Otherwise latche worked as intended and DW closed fully without leakage.
