I use these for making guide holes for screws and nails. Work perfect.

These ice picks feel very nice in your hand. Very sturdy construction. The point is slightly rounded, not sharp pointed, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

I don't exactly use these for what their intended for, I use them for a larger size awl for sewing. They work great for that purpose, and I can see how they'd be highly functional ice pick. If you're going to use them for sewing, you may need to sharpen them, otherwise they're sharp enough for ice picks. I'm not sure if they're rust resistant, but they are very comfortable to use and have a great weight to them. And the size is exactly what I needed for the size of double zero grommets.

I got these because they were a great piece. We have only used one, and it does seem to discolor the wood if moisture gets on it when ices breaks apart. But it is still good enough quality for the price.
