Some People "Read" Playboy, I Read This....
I like this magazine a lot. I also get Military history and World War 2 magazine and this is my favorite of the three. The best thing about military history magazines in general is getting a new issue in and learning about something you had no idea happened. An example would be England ruling Argentina and the Philippines, did you know that had happened? I sure didn't. Also you will read, like in this issue I have here, about a battle contingency England had to invade the Washington territory in 1861 at the start of the Civil War; it's stuff like this that keeps me very interested in reading this magazine more so than the World War 2 stuff that I've probably over read (although it's in here also). Great glossy paper and pictures also makes it stand out from my other subscriptions, highly recommended.

I really enjoy Military Heritage magazine
I really enjoy Military Heritage magazine. I've read it for a few years now and plan on renewing it when it comes due. I think the magazine does a good job describing battles, campaigns and bits of history in a way that is easy to follow and keeps me interested. This is the best military history magazine that I've read.

Great read
Occasional typos aside this is one of the better military history reads out there. Unlike certain publications, this one is really aimed at the masses and not so much at those in academia. Frequent, bright graphics enhance stories and help the reader visualize battles and important historical figures. Most of the stories are focused on the last thousand years or so, with heavy emphasis on gunpowder battles. Ancient battles and medieval times are given occasional coverage but there are sister publications that focus on them, leaving this magazine to focus on more recent warfare. Don't expect coverage of modern war or pretty much anything in the last thirty years. Occasional stories on the cold war pop up here or there, but for the most part WWII/Korea is the end point on their coverage timeline. The magazine features book and game reviews, but focus on the book reviews as their game reviews are not on par with say PC Gamer or IGN. Still a great read and easy for anyone to digest. As long as you are not expecting a professional miitary history journal you will not come away dissapointed.

For my brother
My brother is very hard to shop for. But if it is a book about military history, or war, and lastly, boxing related, it's a great choice. But he is an avid reader, so hard to shop for even in the book department. He enjoyed this very much.

Excellent, classy, informative
There are precious few magazines out there for the military historian with the appeal that this one has. The illustrations are stunning and complement the well-written and informative text month after month. One of my favorite magazines and a must-have for the military historian.

Where is the magazine?
Yes I LOVE Military heritage and have been a subsciber in the past. And as of late have been reduced to going to the bookstore to buy. Complaint is that it has been 5 weeks since my purchase and I'm STILL waiting deligently for it to come to my house. Love Amazon and love the Kindle but some things just need to quickin for response times. That and they need to have more authors( Simon Scarrow and Conn Igguldon) and all there series for the Kindle in regards to the selections.Thank YouChristian Miller
