Amazing item. If you want soft, hydrated skin, get this. Reduces redness and acne too. Great to use along with any strong actives to reduce irritation and peeling. I personally use it with adapalene and niacinamide. Never have had any major breakouts even when I eat like a slob.Use with caution if you have a shellfish allergy as I heard it can cause allergic reactions in people with this allergy.Also if you have incredibly sensitive skin. It be surprising if it did irritate it since the ingredients are so gentle but it can still happen.

Let me be the first to say - it’s 100% worth it.I have had this toner almost 2 months and have used it every day - sometimes twice a day if I get my second face wash in. I was looking for something to help moisturize my face and stumbled on this. I am SO glad I did. It’s helped my skin tremendously. I’ve had issues with acne prone skin for years. About 8 years ago I switched to the Sandra Lee face wash and it was the only thing that cleared my acne and got it under control. Recently, I felt like my skin was just never clear. It wasn’t anything like cystic acne (which I’ve had in the past) but still had some pimples, redness etc. Then I found this toner! It’s helped with acne, smoothing the face, hydrating the face and making the face look more alive.. if you will lol. Less dull etc.My routine is washing my face, using a disposable face cloth to dry, ice rolling my face then using this toner. When I tell you this has helped my skin SO much - it’s honestly insane. I don’t even use acne patches anymore. I feel like a big part of it is this toner but did want to mention the routine I do. Even my husband said your skin is looking so good!!I’m definitely continuing to use this moving forward. Got a few more items from their snail mucin line on prime day just because I’m obsessed and sold on this toner. After trial and error with other face products THIS IS IT! I had to buy the rest of this set separately only because I was skeptical and thought my skin wouldn't see a difference or worse have a bad reaction. I started using it and I loved the way my skin felt putting it on but I felt incomplete once it dried and because I was so impatient I ran to Walmart to get the rest (over priced) I didn't care. I am so happy to say that after so many years I finally found a product that works for my skin! I'm basically pimple free at this point and I'm half way done with the toner, moisturizer and mask; it's about time I put in another order. I do have some breakouts when its THAT time of the month but it's nothing like it was before. I've had this product since December 2023 and I'm writing this review March 2024 to give you a timeline. I also use this plus the set twice a day. Once in the morning and once before bed. I've recommended this to all of my friends and even my mom! I do use a bar cleanser (VALITIC Kojak Acid Dark Spot Remover - natural soap bars with turmeric) and a liquid cleanser/exfoliator (Garnier Micellar gentle peeling water) with the snail mucin set. I'm a black (American) woman with combination skin and I deal with eczema this doesn't dry me out and doesn't overly hydrate my skin to the point I feel oily or heavy in the face, this routine is also a great foundation before putting on makeup and taking it off leaving me with a nice subtle and smooth glow every single time. Literally magic in a bottle. I have extremely sensitive skin, oily and dry at times, with horrible hormonal acne. postpartum I felt like I looked 80 years old at 29. I got this and the rest of the set and holy moly it’s amazing! Over night it somehow made my skin smooth, calmed the redness, and minimized the acne while shrinking my pores. Will buy this now till I die!
