Cangshan 1026641 8-Piece Steak Knife Guard Set, Black

I love these knife guards. They fit my stainless steel steak knives perfectly and offer good protection. I had ordered some heavier plastic ones, but the irregular shape that met the handle at the base of the blade caused the guard not to fit properly. These have a 90" which works beautifully. I was delighted to throw away the paper guards that came with the set. Highly recommended.

I recently bought some new steak knives, and wanted to try to keep them sharp. These work great. The sleeves have felt inside, so the knife shouldn't get scratched up. My knives fit very snugly in the sleeves, so I can't imagine them coming out by accident. I've never used sleeves like this before (which explains why my steak knives are always beat up), and I quickly realized that a little bit of caution is in order (I'm sure the same is true with any other similar product). It would be easy to stab your hand if you try to put the knife in the sleeve and don't get the tip solidly in the sleeve. Don't be in a hurry. I expect these to last for a long time, but if I needed more for some reason, I'd gladly buy these again.

Treated myself to new steak knives a while back. They're super sharp- great for cutting meats- but not safe to leave in the silverware tray. I nicked a finger putting them away. : ( Sat right down at the computer and searched for a fix. Amazon to the rescue : ) ! I bought the Cangshan 1026641 8-Piece Steak Knife Guard Set and the problem has been solved. They fit the blades perfectly and are a snug fit- no danger of them slipping off accidentally. My band aid supply is holding steady!

Good and sturdy but a little too long for both of my Wustoff's (Ikon & Classic) steak knives. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase more.

A great fit for the basic Cuisinart steak knife set that I keep in my truck camper. The sheaths fit very tightly, are lightweight, and are about 1.5" longer than the blades, so I don't need to worry about the tips pricking anyone as they reach into the overhead kitchen cabinet. I am still trying to learn the fastest way to put them on, but once they're on I don't have any concerns about them falling off. I wish they had the Hanzi printed on them as pictured in the listing, but that's a minor gripe. Though I can't yet speak to the long-term durability or any damage they may cause to the knives, nothing about them so far gives me any reason to worry. Very satisfied!
