How long does a pre cut string length usually last before replacing?

I buy the roll of line and cut my own 14' lengths because I have an acre of fence to trim around in addition to multiple flower beds. I probably use a 14' line each time i trim. I will also tell you yes sometimes little pieces break off but I can load and go with my ego trimmer while some of the other guys are still trying to get string in their trimmer. I am 74 years old and I can trim circles around the guys in the neighborhood trying to get the line working in their trimmer. I was one of those guys before I got the ego.

How can it possibly be "160 ft" of line when it's 5 x 15 feet of pre-cut line?

You are wrong. Per the manufacturer its 5 * 14 feet and not 5 * 15 feet. It might end up as 160 ft per Chinese maths

Easy to load and cut

EGO makes a solid product and this string works perfectly in the string trimmers. It is precut and easy to load. The line strength is durable and last for many mows. It is easy to let out more line depending on which model trimmer you have and cuts with good level of power. I have purchased this many times and will continue to purchase as long as I continue to use my EGO line trimmer
