Canvas w/ good waterproofing, seams need seam sealing if leaving outdoors in rain
The tipi is well made and the materials are good quality. The canvas has good waterproofing right out of the box. I soiled one side of the tent during assembly, and subsequently removed the waterproofing while cleaning. I could then clearly see the difference between the waterproofed canvas where water beaded up and rolled off and the non-waterproofed canvas where water soaked in. I applied Star Brite Waterproofing spray to the compromised area and all of the canvas now sheds rain evenly again. As expected, the seams were not 100% waterproof. I used 5 one-ounce tubes of Gear Aid Seam Grip WP and it took 3 hours to completely seal the seams. While seam sealing, I also flattened some folds in the piping over the seams that would otherwise catch and hold water. The tipi now been waterproof through 3 nights of rain. I'll be buying another one soon.

The head room when standing is way to small
It was difficult to put up and take down. Tha tent is too small for 2 people and to little head room when standing inside.
