Worked great and and excellent price
I needed to drill a hole in a clay pot for my Fig plant. The pot I purchased did not have a hole, so I went online and found out. that I could drill a hole in the bottom with this type of bit. It worked great and saved me lot of money.

You get what you pay for
First off, these hole saw bits aren't labelled at all with their sizes so do yourself a favor, whip out the calipers and scrape the measurements into the sides of them. The metal seems a little on the light weight side so whatever alloy they're made of probably isn't super durable in the long run and the grit coating wears down a little faster than I would like. That being said, I've cut through half a dozen bottles with them at this point, so they do work. Be sure to keep the area wet though, it really makes a difference in the longevity of the bits and it's a little less rough trying to start drilling through whatever media you're using.Overall a very average product that can get you through quite a few crafting projects, doesn't cost a lot, but wear out pretty quickly if you're using them for a lot of work. I'll probably buy them again when they wear out since Ill only be using them a couple times a week, tops.

I thought I could at lease get one hole out of a bit.
I suppose I already knew the outcome of this purchase. I knew I wasn't getting much based on the price. But it was worse than I thought. I needed to put a hole in a glass container. Chucked it up in the drill press and very gently tried to get my hole bored. I am not sure of the depth, but I figure I just barely broke the surface and then the glass container shattered. I wasn't using excessive force and it wasn't cutting. What ever the crap they put on the tip of these bits is not diamonds and upon inspection of the bit after I could see several areas around the bit where the cutting material was gone from the bit. very bad purchase. My only recommendation is not to buy them. I have only tried to drill one hole with one bit, but my guess is they are all just like the 3/8" bit.

Works when you figure it out
These ceramic drill bits works once you figure out how to use them! At first I thought they were completely useless since I couldn't get it to work. It kept slipping all over place because I was using them like regular drill bits (placing the bits straight down and applying pressure). It wasn't until I saw a video tutorial that I was able to use it correctly. You'll want to start the bit at an angle and drill slowly. Go slowly to prevent slippage and apply a little pressure to hold your position. Once the bits start carving into the pot and you can see and feel a dent where the bit was place in, go ahead and increase speed. This is when you can start tilting the bits gradually to the vertical position as it grinds into the ceramic, apply gentle pressure, and it will bite through. I also stop here and there to apply water to prevent over heating and cracking. Totally recommend since they're affordable and do work!
