The tape is heavy duty with thickness is so substantial that rebounds from pressure. The adhesive strength is aggressive and is meant for a one time application. Both attributes required me to be patient when cutting with scissors since the tape doesn’t have a backer that peels off. It is very transparent and not noticeable even on the bottom of my red car’s door frames. I’d buy this product again.

Line it up carefully as once it's down it sticks. Used it on our cars' door sills. Saved them this winter - no scratches or chips on two new cars.
