Good LED's for Basement
I'm using these to replace the CFL bulbs in my basement can lights as they go out. CFL's started going out 1.5 years after installation and since they contain mercury, I decided to go with LED. So far I have 6 of these and I like that they come on instantly and the light is exactly the right intensity and color.

Terrible bulbs.
I bought these bulbs to replace my can lights throughout my house. They are awful. They blink on and off whether just turned on or on for hours. They burn out faster than any other light in our home. Will not be purchasing again.

Works great
What can I say, it works great. I don't notice any difference between in the LED lighting vs incandescent.

No buzz, no flicker but didn't last as promised
I'm searching for the elusive LED light that doesn't buzz, doesn't flicker and lasts as promised. These bulbs did fine on the first two (though they don't dim very much) but they only lasted 3 years in a place where the lights aren't on that much (an upstairs hallway). LED pricing is built on the promise that the bulbs will outlast traditional bulbs by a wide margin but these did not.

Don't buy them
I purchased two-each boxes of 6-each bulbs from my local power company. The instant discount brought the price down to $2 per bulb (I live in NYS, so I'm not sure this is available, in every state). Anyway, I don't have any on dimmers, just on/off switches. After 7 months, one bulb blinks from "fully powered" to "half powered", as if one side of the rectifier (which changes AC power to DC power) is failing / failed ORRR one of the capacitors on one side of the rectifier is dying. Anyway, for a product that carries a multi-year warranty... don't buy them. So, when I went to get a replacement from GE, under the warranty, I got a $8 coupon toward any two-pack of bulbs.... wouldn't you know it, the two packs are more expensive than the 6-packs I bought. I think GE sucks. They should have just replaced the darned bulb.

Almost ideal replacement for traditional BR30 Floodlight
Almost ideal replacement for traditional BR30 Floodlight, with a great look (simpler than the corresponding Philips, and very similar to a traditional one). Only problem: while it dims with the right LED supporting dimmer, it still says a little brighter than you incandescent. It also dims without changing the color temperature, which you may like (if you want neutral, soft white even when the light is dimmed), or not (if you want the brownish light of a dimmed incandescent).

One Star
Bought 12 and took 5 bulbs to find two that worked. Will NOT purchase anything from seller again.
