Surprised at the high-quality years after I bought the first one!
I purchased an older version of this model many years ago, and then it was dropped on my garage concrete floor. It would still be working otherwise. It was a great flashlight, and I was sure that the newer models would not match the brightness and durability of the older model. I was wrong :) The PD35 V3.0 is very bright and has the same heavy-duty metal that the old one was made with. I really like the new 4-stage brightness button that allows you to extend battery life if necessary. The new battery features a built-in C connection at the top of the actual battery for charging, eliminating the need for a separate battery charger. Perfect! It also comes with the same nice carry case. Great job, Fenix! Keep up the good work!

High Quality Duty or EDC Light
I've had my original PD35 V3 for a couple years now, and its been a great work light for me doing armed security work. I pair mine with a Thyrm Switchback and its a terrific value. I like these lights way more than the other import lights. Their customer service has also been great - I finally wore out the rubber boot on the back of the light after literal daily use between work and an EDC light when I'm not working. Battery run time is pretty good for how powerful this light is in its "turbo" mode, but you can step down to a very useable low level for an interior work light when looking under a desk for something you've dropped. In its brightest setting it will punch through a photonic barrier and let you see inside a vehicle and identify the occupants. These a good value and easy to use, and its a great overall size for a duty light or every day carry light.

Awesome Fenix flashlight
I've owned this for a couple years now. I don't carry this on me everyday. My only gripe with this is the pocket clip sits so low on the body that a good 1 inch or so sticks out. I would assume this is for tactical reasons to be able to draw your light quickly, but for everyday use it feels more secure with a deep carry clip sitting lower in the pocket. I used to carry the Fenix ld30 because of that, but I've since lost two of those and have a pd25r on the way to carry everyday. Fenix is my favorite brand and I will continue buying those for everyday carry for as long as I live. It's got more than enough settings. It has a temporary on off switch. Push the button down slightly and you can hold it for as long as you want and it'll turn off when you let go. If you want to turn it on, push the button fully it clicks and it stays on for hours. It does get very very hot and turbo mode and regular high setting. My kid left it in turbo mode for 10 minutes on the floor one day and I read the temperature and it measured 143° at the front. The low setting is what I use the most because the beam is so concentrated. The 10 lumens is plenty good enough for what I need. When I need a little more throw I can change it to medium and that's plenty enough to light something 30 yd away or more. I do like that it has memory mode so it will turn back on to the last setting that you changed it to no having to cycle through settings from high to low or low to high like other flashlights to get what you want . This light is always the one sitting on the counter for me to use so I do use it daily and my kid plays with it quite a bit. It has held up just fine and still looks brand new. I've dropped it a couple times and it hasn't broken yet. I highly recommend Fenix flashlights. The three that I've owned have been amazing and as mentioned I will keep buying more and more

Durable
This is by far my favorite flashlight. Ive had it for a while now and used it in different weathers, dropped it and what not. What I love most is it is 1 button click on, then click only once to turn off instead of 5 or 6 more times to turn it off. It does have 5 different levels of bright and strobe, but they are controlled by the small button up close to the head. So its still versatile with different settings, but 1 click on 1 click off. Its metal which makes it more durable, and you pull the battery out to charge it vs having a charger port on the outside which also makes it more durable and weather resistant. No rubber flaps to have to worry about. I also love the size, small enough to fit in my pocket without being all bulky. The clip has been very durable and hasnt broke on me or bent yet like most if used, and trust me, i work in the oil field, so i use it use it. Oh, and it gets bright, like really bright. If I was to ever lose it, id definitely buy another. I have Absolutely Nothing bad to say about this light.

Bright Flashlight
This is an ideal EDC flashlight. The brightness is truly remarkable and clean! Initially, I had some reservations about it not having an adjustable light beam, but this flashlight doesn't need it. It has an ultra-focused bright center beam and has excellent floodlighting as well. You really can't ask for better. My single issue with the light is how hot it gets. Yes, many other reviewers have touched on this and although it's only an issue in its brightest setting, it remains an issue. One thing I've noticed that can help rectify the problem is if you hold the flashlight along the middle-to-tail-end of the flashlight's body. It has a hyper-hot point towards the front of the battery/bulb. Excellent flashlight.

on / off
This is a well built flashlight. Rechargeable of course. The main reason I bought this is for the easily found on / off switch on the back end. No more cycling through all of the settings just to turn it off. There is a separate switch for the settings. Make a setting selection, and when you turn it back on, it stays in the previous selection. I highly recommend this flashlight.

bright, great battery, and well made
This flashlight is incredibly bright at its brightest settings. Brightness levels go from "dim" to "holy crap" on a rough lumen scale. The battery lasts forever. I use it nightly to walk the dogs (30-60 minutes daily) and charge the flashlight maybe every 3 or 4 MONTHS. It is well-made, solid, and durable - I have dropped it on a rough blacktop road while running and had it bounce along the ground for 15 feet and it keeps on functioning like a champ. Buttons are easy to press.

Cumple
Muy buena iluminación, buen material y buen ensamble. Solo procura no dejar la batería adentro ya que es muy fácil que se active el encendido y pueda generar daños.
