Great product for the cost. I was expecting a somewhat flimsy product, and was surprised when I opened the box to find how solid the pieces felt. The desk is easy to assemble, but as according to the directions, it really is a 2-person job. The directions were simple and straightforward - actually, a bit too simple. One or two diagrams weren't entirely clear on how two pieces should be assembled, and in one instance, I had to "re-do" a step - meaning, I had to partially dismantle what I had done, re-configure the pieces, and re-assemble the pieces in order to proceed to the next step. Not too big a deal. Still overall impressed with the product.

This was exactly What I needed. Having a toddler I needed something wothout drawers and doors, or he would open and slam them shut. The quality is nice, about the same as any other RTA (ready to assemble) furniture. It is sturdy, and not that hard to put together. Instructions were fairly clear (again, about the same as any other RTA desk).A HUGE THAK YOU to their customer service!First desk arrived missing pieces and box torn open. Called the company and they offered to send a replacement after pictures were sent of the destroyed box and damaged pieces, 1 part was also missing. The 2nd desk arrived about a week later in much better condition.

Somewhat difficult to assemble and a little smaller than I thought it was but it looks good when finally put together

I had to give this three stars, because while its a quality desk for the price, I did encounter issues which I will now explain in detail.Firstly: the packaging. This desk had either been removed from it's box once before, or every person who handled it between shipping and delivery decided they wanted a piece of the cardboard as a souvenir. I was expecting broken pieces, but I was pleasantly surprised to find everything as it should be.Secondly: no instructions. Now if you'll read other reviews, you'll see receiving instructions is a gamble. Some people got them, some didn't. I was one who didn't. But I went to Best Choice Product's website and emailed them about it, 10 minutes later they emailed me back PDF instructions. So that was nice. Was wasn't nice were the instructions themselves. No details, almost no words at all, just pictures. And not even step-by-step pictures of the correct order to put it together. But, if you're a naturally handy person or have experience building furniture like this, you'll figure it out easy.But as for the desk now that it's together, I have no qualms. Once cleaned the finish is beautiful and goes perfectly with the feel of my office/den where I put it. The shelves on the one side are nice, helps me keep my office supplies organized.I know some of the other reviews mentioned it being terribly built and very low quality. But I think those reviewers might have simply received bad pieces. Because the pieces I received were sturdy and heavy. Right now I have a laptop and a 32" flatscreen sitting on this desk and it doesn't wobble in the slightest. So just beware. For this price, you may get a fantastic bargain, or you may get expensive junk. I suppose it's just a risk with this product.All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I just put this thing together by myself in a little over an hour. The only tool you need is a screwdriver, which is included. Although, I did use a drill to screw in the underneath bracket, because doing that manually on my back was annoying.I'm not a mechanically inclined person and this assembly was rather easy for me for the most part. If somebody as dumb as me can put this together, then it should be a cakewalk for two people as the instructions suggest.Edit 6/29/18: This week I moved to a new residence. I took this desk apart but couldn't remember how to put it back together and I lost the instructions. I went to Best Choice's website and clicked on the chat bubble in the bottom corner. I told the person on the other side I needed the assembly instructions for this desk and he gave it to me right away. Only thing is the instructions given to me had the pieces labeled with letters, while my desk was labeled with numbers. But it all corresponded to A=1, B=2, etc.

I probably should have read the reviews before purchasing like I normally do, so I blame myself. This desk would have taken me about 30min to put together IF ALL THE HOLES WHERE IN THE RIGHT SPOT. The instructions were vague but since I love doing suff like this it and do it all the time it was easy enough for me to follow. Again tho a 30min job turned into 2hrs because I thought I was tripping when actually the holes where drilled wrong. So unless you drill new ones the top doesn't fit on the desk. That was the biggest issue but secondly I HATE HATE HATE those screws they use because they break the wood easily, and the whole desk is made with those screws. I had to hammer 2 back in because they broke during assembly so I'm sure I'll be buying a new desk soon. This was truly a waste of money.

This desk is a great piece for a great price. As you can see in the pictures the holes are incerted with a nylon type washer for a secure fit of assembly parts. The pieces appear to have been evenly sprayed or dipped in a coating and not just a lite paint with an edging that comes off. Had to poke holes in it to incert the different pieces so they could be locked into place. Plenty of room for 2-22" monitors, a laptop, desk phone and extra personal items. Again a great desk for a great price!!
